Coming from an Apple keyboard with laptop style keys, this keyboard is noisier, but I prefer the noise, and the firm mechanical action, of the keys on the Logitech keyboard.
The keyboard loses one star for not having any software to configure it (showing its business roots). If you do a web-search, you'll arrive at the Logitech site, and a download of the Business version of Setpoint. Despite installing it, I couldn't get it to detect the 450, so I couldn't configure the nine application launcher keys to my liking.
Apart from this, it's a very good keyboard - solidly made - and gains kudos for having a dedicated calculator button. All-in-all I'm very happy with my purchase.
This keyboard despite its low, low price (for what you get compared to other WAVE Keyboards) is superb in every department. 10/10
I want you to know I've spent a lot on keyboards over the years, and this keyboard at the present price, is a Bargain. Why???
Well, it has a lovely responsive feel to it, with the "dampened keys" that do NOT just thud, "rather land on an air like mattress, then jump back into position".
The WAVE Format is really user friendly, due to the wider canvass the user has compared to standard Keyboards have, the gentle semi circle type is a winning formula.
Ok, its OEM but arrives well packaged, and only needs software from logitech/support(dot)com if you really need it, as most folks can get by with out it.
Its plug and play, you have nothing to worry about, just add to your basket, and don't look back... (The Perfect Keyboard) in my humble opinion.
The Board is brilliant for all types of keyboard users, Gamer's, word-processing, desktop publisher's, and just Normal Newbies who just surf the net, facebooking, Twittering and Spending cash online.
Nice value for money, I challenge anyone to buy another keyboard of this quality cheaper anywhere.!! Amazon UK are cheapest.!
Thanks for reading.!
I previouly had the more expensive version of this keyboard, with more function buttons etc, and actually this is just as good, so I'd say if you want a great-quality comfortable keyboard, this is the perfect choice.
The keyboard itself is a USB wired keyboard although it did come with a PS/2 adapter if you didn't want it to take up a USB port. There's also a wireless edition but I didn't want it as it mean that the CAPS, Scroll and NUM Lock indicator lights would not be on the keyboard itself to save power. On the wired version, these are located just underneath the numeric keypad. The keyboard is very stylish looking and maybe only a bit bigger than a standard one. It has two separate stands underneath so you can choose how high to tilt the keyboard. Also, didn't want to pay extra for the wireless option.
Aside from the usual keys, it also has a bunch of extra buttons down the left side, across the top and two at the top right of the keyboard. It has Zoom, the full set of multimedia buttons (play/paus, stop, volume controls, etc) as well as buttons to open Gadgets (the Tools/Widgets down the right if you use Vista/Windows 7), Pictures and Music folders, the Media Centre (if you use a version of Windows that includes it), and even a program switching button. Lastly, on the right, we have a calculator and a PC power button.Read more ›

The hotkeys are awful, some type of pointy thing going on.
I was expecting slim profile, but these are full size keys, so very laboursome to type on all day. Read more
