Product description
The MX Master 3 Wireless Mouse is instant precision and infinite potential. Designed for designers and engineered for coders, it’s our most advanced Master Series mouse yet. The electromagnetic MagSpeed wheel is our quietest scrolling yet, providing up to 90% more speed(1) and 87% more precision(2). The ergonomic design means your hand rests perfectly on the sculpted form, and Logitech Flow allows you to work seamlessly across multiple computers and operating systems – including Windows, Mac, and Linux(5). Transfer files, images, and folders between your computers effortlessly – just copy on one and paste to the other(3). Speed up your workflow in the apps you use most, as the MX Master 3 is customisable in virtually every app you use(3). Download Logitech Options software for predefined customisations and app-specific custom settings. The 4000 DPI Darkfield sensor means you can track virtually anywhere – even on glass(4). It’s faster and 5x more accurate than the basic mouse(1). Never worry about your MX Master 3 running out of power, as it stays powered for up to 70 days(6) on a full charge – and gets three hours of use from a one-minute quick charge using the included USB-C charging cable. Get up to 10 meters(7) of wireless range and connect up to 3 devices via Bluetooth, or the included Unifying USB Receiver. (1) Compared to regular Logitech mouse without an electromagnetic scroll wheel. (2) Compared to Logitech MX Master 2S mouse with Logitech Options installed and Smooth Scrolling enabled. (3) Requires Logitech Options software, available for download on our website (4) 4 mm minimum glass thickness (5) Sensor, wheel, and buttons will be supported without adding additional drivers in most popular Linux distributions. (6) Battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions. (7) Wireless range may vary depending on operating environment and computer setup.

I searched a lot over the internet, in the reviews, on Logitech website and youtube to look for the difference between normal edition and the 'so called' business edition of this mouse. Some said it is just the colour which is different while some said it is just the packaging. Well, the actual difference is the compact brown cheap packaging of this product and it shipped from Germany. I takes 3-6 days in reaching UK from Germany even after checking out with Prime. The contents are exactly the same as of original packaged MX master 3 mouse. The colour is also exactly the same Black/Space grey with ribs on top, the base may be slightly darker than the normal edition. I have used many mice in the past like Logitech gaming, Microsoft Surface Pro mouse, Magic Mouse, Lenovo Bat mouse and numerous wired mice but I liked it the best after 1 day of usage :). Some details below:
PROS:
1. Ergonomics: I loved the ergonomics of this mouse. It feels as if it fits right under the cavity of your palm. Comfortable to hold and move. The upper of this mouse is ribbed and feels premium rubberised material.
2. MAX-SPEED Wheel: The Max-speed wheel is absolutely brilliant. I have never used anything like this in the past. I used magic mouse and surface pro mouse with touch scroll but after using this max-speed scroll, it might be hard to switch back to those.
3. Customisable - There are plenty of options to customise the buttons on various applications like excel, chrome, IE, PS, Word etc. I use the default button layout and plan to keep it that way. But you can change according to your need.
4. Horizontal Scroll: It is really handy to switch between tabs or horizontally scroll with the horizontal scroll wheel on this mouse. Back and forward buttons below the horizontal scroll are also handy if you want to use undo/redo on excel or back/forward on a browser.
5. Work on 3 devices simultaneously and flow tech: You can switch between 3 devices with click of a button. I switch between a Windows PC, MacBook and iPhone. You can discover the flow technology but I haven't used it,
6. You can use this mouse on any surface, even glass. I use a leather mouse pad and it flows like butter on a hot pan.
CONS:
1. Not Premium Materials used: After looking at some pictures and videos I believed the bottom of the mouse is made up of premium aluminium or equivalent metal but it is plastic and feels cheap.
2. Pricey: It is too pricey for the quality and features you expect. I got it for 92 quids but personally believe it should range between £60-65.
3. No battery percentage: You cannot know how much juice is left in your mouse. No percentage on the Logitech app. So you have to keep an eye on the bars left. The software should be updated to show these details.
Overall, I liked this product and so far happy with it. I would give 4 stars for its functionality, ergonomics and features. Minus 1 star because they could have used better materials or sell at a cheaper price.

It was a hard decision to send it back. I loved the ability to set program specific button setups. The forward and back buttons for the thumb are in exactly the right place. The scroll wheels feel amazing to use and the thumb one a lot more intuitive than expected. And it is wireless
The reason I had to send it back was that it made my pinky finger feel pretty cramped and sore the way it tilted my hand over the mouse. That's very me specific though.
Second was that it was a lot heavier than my Razer Basilisk V3 wired mouse. Which made it a bit tiring on my wrist and also I felt that I couldn't be as accurate with the pointer. With the Razer mouse I could achieve all the program specific routines. It just required more involved setup.
Ultimately this is an excellent mouse right out the box. The software to set up the MX3 is easy. It feels great. Most people less picky than me will probably love it.
But do check out the Razer Basilisk wired and non wired versions.
I only use for personal use at home but I do 3D printing and do a bit of CAD work and have been frustrated for years with not being able to rotate or move my CAD drawings easily without sketches or planes all re-appearing when they should be hidden and though it was just due to lack of performance of my laptop.
But, I have been working for years with cheap under £10 wireless mice and eventually took the plunge and bought a decent one (this one).
What a change it has made, my CAD programs work fine now and accessing many other aspects of my laptop is so much easier now.
I was lucky and bought this for under £70 and now feel it is well worth it. Just after receiving it I was going to buy another but was now £99.99 so have not at the time of writing bought another.
Is it worth £100 ? not sure, compared to the hassle I have had with several cheap mice then considering I probably still spent over £30 on several of them that were all crap, and just the frustration they caused then I guess I would still say yes, if you find one for £70 or less then definitely worth every penny :-)
