Great DVD, all the goals from that season home and away, Jon Champion narrates and he's a bit of a dick

This is the definitive review of the 2011/2012 season from Liverpool FC in a campaign which despite winning their first trophy since 2006, the Reds' struggles in the Premier League continues unabated as they finished a poor eighth which equals their lowest ever Premier League finish since the 1993/1994 season. The only high points in the league includes a stunning hat-trick from Luis Suarez away at Norwich City in which he capped it with a spectacular 55-yard lob over the goalkeeper, an astonishing scissor kick from Sebastian Coates away at Queens Park Rangers, a 2-0 win away at Arsenal, a late Andy Carroll winner away at Blackburn Rovers who went on to be relegated by the end of that season and league doubles over Everton (including a Steven Gerrard hat-trick at Anfield) and Chelsea (which includes a late winner from Glen Johnson against his former club at Stamford Bridge and a 4-1 win at Anfield).Read more ›

This is a must for all Lverpool fans. There are 2 discs inside. The first is a 2 hour DVD about the season and is very good. The second is a full version of the League Cup Final.

Get DVD. Good highlights of all the games.
Really enjoyed Kenny and his celebrations with the fans after every goal we scored!
We played much better than our final position would suggest.

In response to the 'Pure Comedy Gold' review, you must be pretty sad and lonely, if the only thing you can do for fun is specifically search for a product from a football club you clearly dislike and then set about writing a bias and somewhat offensive review about that football club and the season just gone rather than the actual product in question. The only football fans who call the then named Carling Cup the 'Mickey Mouse Cup' are those who are not in contention to win it. Yes the club finished 8th, lost the FA Cup final and Everton finished higher; but come on, silverware equals success. I will admit I was unhappy when Kenny got the boot, however he himself said when Torres left back in January 2011 'that no one person is bigger than the club itself'. I believe he truly meant this, so you would have to say it does apply to him as well. You mentioned Chelsea, I will not take comparisons between Liverpool Football Club and a Club that has only won 23 major trophies since 1905.

This is pure jealousy. Only those who cannot obtain glory have to ridicule those who do.

As for the season review, it is as good and informative as any other. The bonus disc is satisfying as well.
