The Troggs have a 36 year history and at a concert in Preston in the UK during spring 2002 they played to a sell out audience and in return performed a "Global Jukebox" of the majority of their worldwide hits. Wet Wet Wet covered their "Love Is All Around", taking it to number 1 in the UK charts for 15 weeks. Despite that success the band are wary of committing themselves to recording any new material and are even limiting the number of concert appearances they make in future. Reg said "I don't really enjoy too much touring so we are stopping doing long tours in the future". This DVD is a succinct collection of songs that provides a neat reminder of the very large part The Troggs played in developing the classic sixties sound.

'If you're seeing 'em loive for the first tyme, where've you bin - they've bin around for the past 40 yurz!'
The Troggs are one of the most exciting sixties acts on the 21st Century touring circuit and perform all their hits on this superb 1 hour DVD: including, Wild Thing, I Can't Control Myself, With A Girl Like You and the superb Love Is All Around. Original members include Reg Presley and criminally underrated lead guitarist Chris Britton. They're both joined by Pete Lucas on bass and Dave Maggs on drums.
Sound and picture quality are very good, although the packaging rather resembles what you might expect on a bootleg copy. For those of a rather sensitive nature - beware! Although the disc is exempt from the British Board Of Film Classification, some of Reg Presley's bawdy antics may just offend a few - not one to show the grand kids perhaps missus? Ooh ar!
This is a small step in an effort to fill the yawning void of absolutely NO Troggs DVD's at all, and Angel Air must be applauded for at least documenting the band in some small way. But The Troggs deserve better, and someone should get on with it while they're still around to be able to do it!
However, this DVD does show the power of The Troggs live, and whilst their ballads may seduce the audience, their rockers, like the 1966 rocket-fuelled 'Wild Thing' B-side, 'From Home' and also a later track, 'Feels Like A Woman,' ably demonstrate how the band thoroughly enjoy being let off the leash. A full stage set would have allowed for more Trogglodite anarchy, and original guitarist, Chris Britton, plainly enjoys himself on these up-tempo tracks moreso than the others.
Yes, this is nice as a testament to the wonderful Troggs, but again, they deserve better, their dues were paid donkey's years ago, and Legends need documenting and I hope someone takes up the challenge.
This is a must for Troggs fans, you can't beat experience, & a bargain on Amazon.

This concert is from only a few years ago, so the band is older but this guys still ROCK! and play most of their hits.
They sound fantastic and it's really fun to watch the band play live.
