The OKAY Rating is because I Love all Dave Edmunds music and I am a completist as far as D.E. is concerned. In truth the only good thing about this is it has some good pictures on the cover and some nice liner notes. I am sure when Dave & the rest of the band performed this they sounded great. Unfortuanately this is a very bad quality recording that sounds like the poorest of bootlegs. In fact I already heard the bootleg version of this over 30 years ago and it didnt sound as bad as this. The guitars sound like they have been recorded under water, while the bass is some times over present and the drums & vocals all over the place. This is bad and i don't like giving D.E. a bad rating, because I know D.E. would not be happy with this sound. If you want to here Dave Live look elsewhere, because everything else is a whole lot better than this.
The Rockpile 1980 Rockpalast is much better!
