5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Fleetwood Mac 25 Mar. 2013
By Matthew Hymes - Published on Amazon.com

Difficult to locate the original Peter Green sound of Fleetwood Mac. This four album set delivers classic blues in every way! The heavy vinyl, 160gm or 180gm, provides excellent tracking and beautiful sound from my classic Hi-fi. Even being a live recording, the sound of the music comes through beautifully without being lost by the crowd or venue.

5.0 out of 5 stars The original sound was muddy at best. These are clean and dynamic 26 Jan. 2015

This is the real Fleetwood Mac Ladies & Gentlemen. This the the notorious bootleg that circulated around in the '70s and '80s. The original sound was muddy at best. These are clean and dynamic. The performance is stunning. This is how it's done people. There is a great selection of songs from the 3 nights that that band preformed there. The song Rattle Snake Shake is extended with a medley of instrumentals that the biographer that labeled the songs wasn't familiar with. Rattle Snake Shake is 25 minutes (each version, there are 2) and contains what I believe to be Searching For Madge, Fighting For Madge and Undertow. Jeremy Spence's Blues homages are soulful. Danny Kirwan's on fire through out. While Peter Green leads the way with inspiration. These are undoubtedly transferred from analogue source to digital which means purchasing them on record is not necessary to hear better sound (I also have the CD version). Fans of Detroit's Rockets and Jim McCarty take note of the version of Oh Well's arrangement it's likely where Jim came up with his. Jim was in Cactus which, would open for the Mac.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful in vinyl on 4 lp's 20 Oct. 2015
By L. Ortega - Published on Amazon.com

Yum, yum, yum. All the different phases of the Mac have appeal. This is the Peter Green/Danny Kirwan/Jeremy Spence phase and features the band at their hottest. The Rattlesnake Shake (both versions) is worth the price of the record. Beautiful in vinyl on 4 lp's. A lot of British blues rock at its best.
