In this fourth collection of the master rock/blues performers personally produced and approved series, Johnny focuses on some of his fellow bluesmen finest compositions such as the great Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, and others. Some of the best guitar riffs ever recorded live, including the very rare bonus track of Rollin and Tumblin captured on acoustic. The critically acclaimed and chart busting series is back again in full force for the new year - Texas Style!
Top Customer Reviews
The blues are sharp and hyper-musical. The high class. This is an indispensable series in a fan of blues discotheque.

From his boyhood idol, Gatemouth Brown's "Oakie Doakie Stomp" right through the Muddys' "Rollin' and Tumblin" done Robert Johnson style on the Dobro, this recording clearly demonstrates Johnny as the Blues Rock Master.
If you have any of the others this stands up to all!
If you don't have any take the plunge.
