Totally agree with the other reviews on here, this is a great concert that rocks from start to finish. Backed by a great band this is much heavier than the Kinks ever were!

This is one of the best live albums i have ever heard. Really captures the atmosphere at the gig and Dave is in fine form. Amazing versions of his own classics, Kinks greats and some really good more obscure tracks. Dave's guitar playing is superb throughout. Great banter with the crowd as well. Thoroughly recommend to any fans of Dave Davies, the Kinks or just superb live rock.

I can only add to the praise to this album everywhere. Though I'm not usually a fan of live albums, this is one of the definitive rock concert albums ever for me. Dave has been an underrated guitar player in my opinion, and here he shows how awesome his performance can be, and - a big surprise for many of us - how good entertainer he is. This is an incredible proof of his abilities, and demonstrates how powerful and wonderful the music of the Kinks really is (he made a fantastic selection). Great and essential.

A tremendous, bare-bones, bare-knuckle live album. Having attended two of Mr. Dave Davies' shows in the US, I can attest that this album is the next best thing to being there. The crunching chords, the blazing solos, the wit and brilliance of brother Ray's songs and the very happy display of Dave's vastly underrated songwriting!
Creeping Jean is a crunching reminder of how something so absolutely superb can be so absolutely overlooked. The studio version is great, and 30 years later the live version rivals it!
It is difficult to believe that an out-and-out rock show can be performed with such life and joy by a 50+ year old, but the proof is on the plastic. 6 stars out of 5;simply one of the greatest live albums you will ever hear!
