SUPERB ORIGINAL 16 TRACK DOUBLE LIVE CD RELEASED BY ANGEL AIR RECORDS IN THE UK IN 2006. THE MASTER TAPES OF THESE RECORDINGS WERE SUPPLIED BY THE BANDS MICK RALPHS. THERE ARE VERY FEW COPIES OF THIS STUNNING 2 CD SET IN EXISTANCE BECAUSE IT WAS WITHDRAWN SOON AFTER RELEASE BECAUSE OF LEGAL WRANGLINGS WITH THE BANDS ORIGINAL AMERICAN LABEL SWAN SONG. INCLUDES FABULOUS 24 PAGE CD BOOKLET WITH INFORMATIVE SLEEVE NOTES, TRACK, BAND & RECORDING INFORMATION & GREAT PHOTOS OF THE BAND.

Recorded in 1976, the cd is of a concert on the promotion of the Running With The Pack album & opens with a blistering version of Live For The Music. As you would expect, the sublime Good Lovin Gone Bad, Can't Get Enough, Shooting Star are all included; in fact, it's like dying & going to Rock & Roll heaven!
Catch it if you can - this is the very essence of live rock music!
It's to be hoped that this album can be released sometime because every fan deserves to hear it, but unfortunately this is unlikely. It's also a shame the band just like many other bands could not put the fans first for once, instead of there petty squabbles.
It catches this fabulous band at their very peak. The sound is great, the performance is sublime (it almost has a laid back drugy feel to it) and the packaging and booklet are second to none.
I would imagine that Mick Ralph's provided the recording to Angel Air Records who, genuinely believing they had the right to do so, released it. Swan Song declared it illegal and that's why its release was halted.
If you love this band and can afford a copy, go for it!
The original tapes were supplied by Mick Ralphs, and it is a complete performance from intro to encore. Ralphs also provided many of the previous unseen photographs used in the superb colour booklet.
The only problem you're going to have with this album is getting hold of it. No sooner was it manufactured a contractural dispute kicked off, with the result that the CD was deleted. So despite having waited 30 years or more for an original Bad Company live album to appear, it has now been snatched from grasp!
If it had been released when "double live" albums were de-facto for most of the great Seventies bands, it would have been rated right up there alongside "Live and Dangerous", "Made in Japan" and "Strangers in the Night".
Plenty of great between song banter and the band sound absolutely superb with Paul Rodgers indulging in his well known improvisations.
The prices on Amazon are quite clearly ridiculous but if you can find it at a realistic price, this is one hell of a live album
