The cards are of good quality and it does work out cheaper than buying individual packs, but I was most unimpressed when my daughter counted the packs and there were 29 and not the stated 30. Only one pack short I know but that's not the point !

HASH(0x9825e990) out of 5 stars Pokemon Fever is Back, but in Pony Form! 26 Aug. 2012

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is rekindling my obsessions from my childhood. I am a college student now and I wouldn't have guessed I would go back to card collecting through My Little Pony, no less. I guess it is just one of those epic cartoon shows that comes once in a blue moon like the original Pokemon, Yugioh, or Medabots. My Little Pony friendship is Magic takes all the epicness of adventure from those shows and raise the bar in "smart" characters. Seriously the show has characters that have personalities and traits that make them feel like actual relatable people. Anyways, I got a little bit sidetracked. The cards themselves are a throwback to many card collection you may have had as kid like as mentioned earlier Yugioh or Pokemon. The illustration are nice and the cards are well made with funny descriptions at the back. Once you start collecting you will never stop until you have the complete set. "Got to catch'em all" but this time "Pinkie Pie Style!"

this is one of the funnest things to collect ever! I bought a full box and after digging through them I had almost a full set! collect them, trade them, they are super fun! there are almost 200 different cards regular ones, pretty gold ones. foils, some of the special ones are bringing 30-40 dollars on ebay .
I found enough special cards in the box to make my money back on 3 cards if i sold them"which i am not going to i am putting a set together"
if you collect my little pony ,you will love this!

HASH(0x9825ee1c) out of 5 stars Enter-play with the help of fans creates the collectable trading cards any fan will love. 26 Jan. 2013

Some companies just asume what fans want, or simply just do the generic thing not caring. Enter-play went out of their way not only to find out what fans wanted via pre-release surveys, but actually brought on 3 consultants, who were not card designers, just regular, older fans of the show. The result are cards that are funny, well written, with tons of fan specific in jokes and refrences, the characters we want, even officially naming a few.

The art is beautiful, all (or atelast almost all) of it lifted right from the show enstead of using stock vectors, or creating new art, so you can instantly relive the moments that brought you into the show to start with, everything is 100% on model. In addition to character & scene cards, you also get standee's and high quality temporary tattoo's, thats where the fun in fun pak comes from.

If you love the show, there is nothing not to like about these cards, Series 2 is just around the corner expanding the set, get your collection started now.

This is definitely a high quality product which one must get as a pony fan! Easter eggs and trivia among the cards' description is extremely interesting. Don't hesitate! Totally worth it! Buy it before it goes out of stock~ I've heard they stopped producing it already.
