5.0 out of 5 stars Short, Mysterious and Sexy! 6 Mar. 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Elodie Parkes writes a short seductive tale between two people who had always meant to be together.

Daisy is just the ordinary girl who falls head over heels with the handsome stranger, Dhruv, who frequents the bar she works in. Unbeknownst to her, the man knows her only too well and wants her just as much.

Parkes weaves an effective mysteriousness into this book, combined with sexy hot scenes that will have you begging for more. But more than that I was intrigued by the element of love between the two characters and I wish this could have been explored more in detail. Regardless, this is definitely your coffee table romance (or your subway romance, whichever you prefer), you won't regret to pick up for that 'on the go' moment. Definitely a winner. Loved it through and through. Highly recommended for all erotica lovers looking for substance.
5.0 out of 5 stars Surprises and Scorching Love Scenes 20 May 2014

A Little Mysterious is a lot romantic. Full of surprises and scorching love scenes this paranormal romance will stay with you. A great story about the main alpha male character, and his search for love and a home. The heroine hides a little secret and that puzzle piece falls into place in a lovely way as the two, Dhruv and Daisy get together. A hot, dynamic, short love story, not to be missed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not a typical vampire story 5 Dec. 2013

Ms. Parkes has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her stories are short, a plus to my way of thinking with my busy schedule. They are romantic and filled with steamy sex. Dhruv is a vampire stranded in a strange town. He meets and is attracted to Daisy, from here the story departs from your typical vampire story. How is it different? Read the story and discover the difference for yourself. An excellent and quick read.
5.0 out of 5 stars A vampire story. 3 July 2014
By cobblestones - Published on Amazon.com

I stopped reading vampire books because (Vampire Diaries included) they happen to have the worst heroines. Shallow, whiny women who simply annoy me. Sookie Stackhouse wasn't quite as annoying as the rest of them, but the heroine of Elodie Parkes vampire story is nothing of the sort. The mystery of the man who comes to get a cup of coffee every day was intriguing and Dhruv is a very well written male character indeed. Both the MCs became my favorites. I couldn't stop reading once I picked it up. An enjoyable read and has just the right amount of hotness! This is a well written, well plotted piece of writing and I would love to read more from the author.
4.0 out of 5 stars A LITTLE MYSTERIOUS~ 14 Mar. 2014
By Coffee Time Romance & More - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
From the outset of the story, the sexual attraction which Daisy and Dhruv feel for one another is clear. As the story develops so too do their feelings, but their sexual chemistry is always in the fore. This is a short and sexy read and difficult to write about without giving away a major part of the plot. However, I must admit to loving the twist in the tale. It was unique and inventive and in my opinion demonstrated that the author had given this particular turn of events a great deal of thought. If you love sexy, contemporary, vampire stories with a surprise ending, then this is certainly the read for you.
