An excellent portrait of Nick Cave's evolution as an artist, captured through Butcher's expert lens across three decades of friendship. The shot selections are stunning, and the handful of anecdotes included alongside key images are engrossing. I'd have liked a few more of these stories, but that's my bias as a reader showing: this is a book of photographs, after all, and a fine one at that.

Love Nick Cave? Then you'll love this. My other half is a devotee and he hasn't been able to put this down since I gave it to him! Great photos with some good details running alongside. Interesting and informative whilst being great to look through or delve in to.

A good book but there aren't any photos you can't see on google that don't come up incredibly frequently. I was let down, but as a fan I still enjoyed the book. Not a must have but if you're a fan might be worth a look.
