Excellent book to help children learn all about the creatures that live in the ocean. Lots of information and pictures for each creature. My son, who is 3, loves this book and we regularly read this together along with the dinosaur and animal books from the same series.

I would have expected more common animals of the ocean and not the most striking and rare. Didn't realise it was worldwide but this is my fault, I would have rather it was Atlantic and Mediterranean only so to say.

The National Geographic books for kids are the best real-life animal related books I have found for kids. The facts on each animal keep the kids interested and the pictures are stunning. Highly recommend!
