Really enjoyed reading this book it is well written and the characters are great. The main character Carly is very real and has real faults which I find refreshing. Nick is charismatic but not the normal handsome boring guy, so its makes out interesting. A vampire as a hypnotherapist which is awesome...... some things Carly does drives me nuts hard me shouting at the book (you know what I mean when u read it lol) but like to said she has faults. Great book based in London by an author who lives in London. Not a stupid writer who thinks is good to have English characters and who use American phrases ....... Anyway good start to a new series, not very vampy until the end but well worth a read x

I enjoyed this book. I hadn't realised it was part of a series, but I guess so many are nowadays. I liked Carly as a character; she had lots of flaws but her troubles make her human - unlike Nick! No spoiler here, but you guess fairly early on he's not all he seems. I think the ending could have ended with them meeting/talking and telling more about his background rather than leaving it as it was....but that will probably be the start of book 2 but I'm hopeless at serial books unless they are released within a few weeks of each other....

All the way through you think you know what's going on, the little hints you get make you think & finally, at the end, wham! It hits you and you realize you knew all along! Brilliant! Huge cliffhanger but just brilliant!

A great read I really enjoyed the plot and the characters, however, as I finished the last page and eagerly went to purchase the next book, I was so disappointed to find that the next book isn't really one just a short story, the same for the third book. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing those as a feel it should be a proper book, such a shame as I thought I'd found my next favourite author!

I really liked this book after a bit of a slow start glad i stuck with it, was going to read book 2 3 and 4 but they are only 66 pages each and nearly £2 so think thats a bit pricey for such a short read shame 1 book would have covered it all

Not a bad little book considering it was free and I would have purchased further books in the series. However, the remaining storyline is sold chapter by chapter. Therefore; story three stars, because I will never know the end one star... Sorry writer I will not purchase a book that has been split into pamphlets and I was disappointed given the time I invested to read what is only the beginning. Not quite sure why you chose to do this. A real shame, but unable to recommend.

Hmmm. This is essentially a sexed up version of Twilight: girl falls in love with nice guy vampire, low-end relationship drama ensues. And despite the inclusion of graphic sex scenes (including some more hard-core acts - rimming, etc), I found this story to be just as passionless and lacking in any real romance or romantic tension as the Twilight movie was. There's certainly none of the grand sweep of emotion I'd expect from a dark vampire love story. In fact, the hero's vampirism is pretty much played as incidental to the story.

Download Love is Darkness by Caroline Hanson instead - it's a million times better.

I loved this book, the ways it's written, the characters odd quirks, but when I realised its a serial I was so put off, I just can't be bothered downloading them all separately. I would much prefer just two good sized novels and pay a good price for them. There are also a few mistakes throughout my favourite bring 'venison' blinds instead on 'venetian', it did make me chuckle. I could just imagine slabs of deer decorating a vampires room! Also pore instead of pour etc. like I said, if this was released as two novels I would be all over it, fix the instant love thing too and it would be 5 stars.
