I found it accurate and followed several of the recommendations. I was pleased with the outcome. This guide made our holiday a richer experience.
I chose this guide above others because it was spiral bound which means it didn't lose any pages and was easier to navigate.
I would recommend this guide.
Very well packed and arrived on time I will use this company again
If you are planning a short trip and are conscious of time – this guide is superb with the task of suggesting itineraries based on your time and location. If you have little time and want to see as much as possible - this is a guide for you. Of course, the major points of attraction are covered in greater detail (Praça do Comércio, absolutely worth your visit, Belém Tower, absolutely worth the visit – actually, walk from one to the next!) but the book also manages to find space for little gems of Lisbon – not so crowded little streets and places of historic heritage (yes, there is A LOT OF history there, and you will be surprised how much).
As usual the Marco Polo travel guide tells you a little history, provides you with many tips and a lot of useful information. There is also an abundance of photographs, street maps and a separate pull out map for your ease of travel.
I would recommend this book to everyone thinking of going to Portugal – the Portuguese tarts are to die for!
