A series of fires and accidents that have dire consequences leads to an investigation of The chief fire fighter Noah Callaghan. A senior investigator is sent to get to the truth of the matter. There is strong evidence implicating the chief and it all seems hopeless. His colleagues can't believe what is happening but even they are struggling to protect or support him. There is a growing attraction between him and the female investigator which they both have to fight not least because they do not wish to compromise the investigations credibility but it would also damage the credibility of women in the service . A surprising turn of events leads Eve Woodward towards the truth but not without risk. Eve's brother Ian comes to her aid with his own shed load of issues. The characters are so believable and loveable you cheer them on from the side-lines. The children's Haven is not only a Haven for the children who have lost parents in their line of service to the public it's a haven for the service men and women in their time of need Its a true "to go place". Loving this series. Read in order for added pleasure.
