Product description

Product Description

Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay is a contemporary style of Chardonnay with generous flavours and refreshing finish. It has aromas of fruit salad, peach, fig, rock melon and toasty oak. It is a straw colour wine. This wine is medium bodied with a fresh, crisp finish. It is best enjoyed with a classic match for seafood dishes. It won the silver award in River land Wine Show Class 3, Category 14 2012 and Gold Award in China Wine and Spirits Awards 2013. The consistent climate of South Eastern Australia, with long sunshine hours and low humidity, allows Lindeman’s to achieve the consistency of flavour that has made its wines so popular both at home and around the world.

A mild winter led to a warm and dry growing season with early bud burst. It was relatively cool leading into vintage, which commenced early as a result of normal crop levels and continuing dry conditions. In mid-January, the season remained dry and relatively hot with temperatures fn the mid-40 degree Cs, which continued until mid-February. Healthy leaf canopies prevented the fruit from being affected by the sun, but the warm conditions accelerated ripening. Rain came in mid-February, which delayed grape harvesting and processing by about two weeks and was accompanied by cooler weather. Despite the delay, 2014 proved ultimately to be another good vintage. Best Enjoyed young and fresh. It contains 13.5% alcohol by volume.
