Linda writes in several genres, crime being her main one. Her gentle romances are published under the name Linda M Priestley. "Earth Magic" and "Book Lovers" are available on Kindle.
After graduating from the University of Leicester, Linda spent several years in clinical research before starting a family. Once the children were at school, Linda started writing mysteries. The first novel in the Elversford series, 'Death in Spigg's Wood' (published Dec 2011 on Kindle) was born out of a casual conversation arising from the question, "What would happen if..." The follow-up, "Death in Flitbury Marshes" followed in April 2012. The short story "Burden of Proof" and the novel "Blood Will Out" have joined these mysteries.
The latest novel is an historical adventure set near Linda's home, but 1,900 years ago. Gladiatrix follows the adventures of a native British woman sentenced to the arena.
Linda's short stories and articles have been published in several national magazines. The short story "Wargeld" was Highly Commended in The Yellow Room Short Story Spring Competition 2009. Wargeld is published in an anthology of several short stories.
"Charlie's War" was first published by My Weekly Pocket Novels and is now available as a Large Print Linford Romance (Ulverscroft).
