There was so much that I liked but one niggle that spoilt my enjoyment.
You’re The Lights…
Sebastian had one rule.
No women on the back of his bike. Period.
The one time he broke that rule, he killed the woman that was carrying his child.
Then comes Baylee Roberts. She makes Sebastian want to break every single rule he’d ever implemented. Hell, but she even makes him consider that dreaded H word. A helmet.
Baylee Roberts innocently walked into her bathroom never expecting that she’d find a man in there. It is her bathroom after all, and she lives alone.
From the instant he placed his hat on her head to protect her from the sun, Baylee’s mind becomes filled with thoughts of a certain biker.
She really shouldn’t go there. There’s no telling what kind of dangerous things he does for The Dixie Wardens MC.
Nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Their relationship’s one of them.
Baylee’s brother is a cop. Baylee’s father is a cop. Which inevitably means that Baylee’s going to have certain hang-ups about being with a man like himself.
Sebastian has a lot on his plate with his busy job as a firefighter, a single father, and the vice president of The Dixie Wardens MC.
Not enough, though, to keep him away from Baylee.
When a series of arsons rattle their hometown and puts Sebastian’s life on the line, Baylee finally realizes the only fire Sebastian can’t put out is the one inside her heart.
This is not a gritty, angst ridden MC book. For me it’s a funny romance where the incredibly hot alpha male just happens to be in an MC (oh, and a firefighter as well, swoon!) but that’s its charm.Read more ›
I started these off out of order and read Center Mass first so I had already figured out a few things about this couple but I'm delighted I went back and started from the beginning.
I love the fact that these men are from an MC but also part of law enforcement. It's different to what we are used to and it keeps things from being boring.
I really enjoyed Baylee's character, I also loved her name it's spelt unique. Baylee was hilarious and I loved her affinity to shirts with slogans on them. Her relationship with Johnny was lovely to witness.
Sebastian was pretty rough round the edges in some parts of this story but I have to say I loved him regardless. There were a few times he bugged me but mostly he dug himself into my heart.
I really felt a connection with these characters and the storyline kept me enthralled throughout.
He takes being alpha to a whole new level, he is alpha from the top of his head to the tip of his little toe and every glorious inch in between.
But life for this glorious guy is far from easy, he is a full time single father to the cutest of little fella’s Johnny , holds down a job that sends his scorching factor through the roof- firefighter no less and to top that he is the VP of the Dixie Warren MC – is that some sort of full hand !!
While Sebastian was enough to hold my attention for a lifetime, Baylee was who made the story sing for me. She was just brilliant.
Paramedic Baylee has her hands full, as if it isn’t hard enough work being daughter to the chief of Police , she has to endure the fact that her brother is on the force too. Two men that have and will stop at nothing to protect her.
She lives life to the full and although she has her issues physically there is nothing that she is not prepared to tackle and boy is she a hoot – she had me laughing my socks off – her quick one liners are just so funny, she pulls no punches when it comes to the sass front – Sebastian needs to get his thinking cap or as this little lady is going to hand Mr badass biker a lesson he will never forget on what it takes to keep his woman happy!
The pair of them are victim to an instant attraction when they meet but both have reason to be cautious, Baylee knows her brother has met Sebastian before and while it may have been many years ago he definitely doesn’t like him. Families – always guaranteed to put a spanner in the works!Read more ›

Wouldn't read anymore of this author. I like sex scenes in a book, but this is crude, IMO. Didn't like any of the characters either.Published 13 months ago by suzy
