I am half way through reading `Tweep-e-licious' by Lynn Serafinn (only started it yesterday and couldn't put it down!). I am delighted to report that the Twitter fog I was experiencing is starting to disperse and I can't wait for my Kindle to recharge so I can get reading again. It is well-written and easy to understand so if you need Twitter for your business and are currently overwhelmed by it, then I wholeheartedly recommend that you read this book. Yesterday I was more or less clueless - last night I was creating lists and by tomorrow - well, it could be a hashtag or two!

With my Kindle recharged I finished the book and the second half didn't disappoint either. There is so much useful information and practical advice which demystifies Twitter. I now feel confident that I can master Twitter and meet lots of new tweeple by writing quality tweets. I haven't been left with the feeling that I need to buy another book to fill in the gaps!

Thanks Lynn - really glad you took the time to write this!

This is one of the best and most practical business books I've ever read - I used to think that Twitter was a place where people 'shouted' at one another. However I've discovered from Lynn that it's all about collaboration, sharing and building relationships, which is far more aligned to my heart. I've been implementing each of the tools as I'm working through the book and can't wait to get all the way through it. I'd definitely recommend this as an excellent practical book for anyone wanting to get to grips with Twitter. It's refreshing to learn from someone with both the technical business savvy and a values based approach to marketing. Thanks for sharing this Lynn!

Lynn Serafinn has got to be the only person who could write about the intricate technicalities of social media and make it such a vibrant technicolour ride. I was on the edge of my carpet all the way through Tweep-e-licious. Lynn's entertaining, direct, warm and generous writing jumps off the page and and had me clicking links through to here, there and everywhere to amplify my Twitter experience. As well as being full of useful, practical information from the most basic set-up tips to the management of supertwitterdoms, the whole book is underscored by the 7 Graces of Marketing (another stupendous read) which act as a guide to ethical twitterquette. Written with eloquent, graceful humour, this book is an accessible and invaluable resource packed to the brim with useful twitbits. It will tame even the most technophobic of tweeps and empower those who wish to communicate confidently and creatively across all known realms of the Twitterverse.

Twitter. I hold my hands up and say I'm a Twitter dinosaur. I have been on Twitter for so long that I honestly cannot remember when I first signed up. I know it took a few months for me to appreciate what Twitter was all about it but by the time I did, I was head-over-heels in love and found myself on the business networking circuit, talking about social media for business, as well as running social media workshops for entrepreneurs. Many connections made on Twitter helped to change my world, both personally and in my business, and I found it was a powerful tool to help satisfy my insatiable hunger for knowledge.

Then last year, I fell out of love with Twitter - I didn't feel any joy in, or have any fun with, tweeting. This coincided with a time in my life where I felt total disconnection from the world around me, so it was with much eagerness that I awaited the publication of Tweep-e-licious! 158 Twitter Tips & Strategies for Writers, Social Entrepreneurs & Changemakers Who Want to Market Their Business Ethically by Lynn Serafinn. Could Tweep-e-licious! help to rekindle the flame of Twitter desire in me?

Serafinn is the author of The 7 Graces of Marketing, which is not only a fascinating book about a paradignm shift towards ethical forms of marketing but which - for me - shared 7 Graces which I could live my life by. I felt confident that the 7 Graces would appear in Tweep-e-licious in some form and Yes! So they were. Serafinn begins Tweep-e-liciuos by sharing a brief insight into the 7 Graces and how they impact on our use of Twitter. As a tool for connection and invitation, Twitter is a perfect medium : but how could I get myself back on track with Twitter? How could I find that sparkle again? Could Tweep-e-liciuos help me?

Tweep-e-licious is a great resource for both a new Twitter User (as I was) but also for experienced Users. I like the links back to "The 7 Graces of Marketing" (although you don't need to know or have read this book to gain benefit). My favourite bit about the book is that it is laid out in 158 individual tips and strategies and enables the User to dip in and dip out as and when required. Although I initially read the book cover to cover, as and when I need to clarify something I can just pick the book back up. Love this book so much I have recommended it to other small businesses and new Twitter users.

I thought this book was great in giving me insight as to how Twitter works.

I didn't really get what all the fuss was about in regards to Twitter and now I have a much better understanding.
