I was given an ARC of "Liar, Liar" from Kasey, in exchange for an honest review.

I know I stated I was given an ARC, but in all honesty I jumped at the chance! As a Kasey Millstead fan, I couldn't wait to read this book, especially with the blurb (have you read it??) I was intrigued. Then once I started..... I couldn't stop!

Makenna is a women who's made a life for herself, after years of nothing but dissapointments, she finally where she wants to be. With her life long friend Mitchell, they co-own a Private Investiagtion company, spending their days sorting through the lies. But what will Makenna do when a client wants her to plant evidence, instead of collecting it??? Benny is in a marriage he never wanted, coerced by his parents & hers, after years of going with the flow, doing everything he can to spend as little time with his wife as possible, he stumbles into Makenna & his life changes drastically....

Oh my, I loved the changes Benny makes from the start, to the finish of this book, he blossoms... I know that's not manly at all, but it's wonderful to read. Although the lies told throughout the book, would make any person cringe, they all hold meaning, you can feel through the words how Makenna & Benny suffer when they can't tell the absolute truth. But then you get to the ending & it all helps & makes the story come alive. I can't wait to see what magic Kasey weaves next.

This book was amazing! A totally heart warming love story! The characters, the story flow, everything was done just right!!!
Makenna owns an investigation agengy with her long term best friend, Mitchell. They worked hard and from scratch and made the business what it is.
In walks Regina, stuck up rich bitch who always wants her own way. This time she wants evidence that her husband is cheating so she can claim millions of dollars in a divorce settlement, the one catch is, he's not cheating!
Benny is Regina's husband her lonely, unloved partner that is being set up, or is he?
What will Makenna do?
What will happen when the truth comes out?
Will Makenna and Benny fall in love for real?
Will Benny prove he's a better man and get his HEA?

At times the story felt a little rushed and I would have liked more development with the characters and story but that being said I did enjoy it. It was a real nice quick read.

The premise for the story was interesting and I really liked the characters. I particularly liked that Kasey switched it up and it was our female lead who was the one with the secrets. As with all Kasey's books there was certainly plenty of steam in this book and a nice dose of humour.

This may be a quick read but it packs a lot in. Kasey has built a story that is slowly revealed it has it all intrigue, betrayal, passion, smoking hot scenes and love. The main charcters are fantastic and grow throughout the book. Really enjoyable read.

HASH(0x88c4e3d8) out of 5 stars Excellent fast fun sexy read. 12 Dec. 2015
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Obligatory note: I received a free copy of this book Liar Liar by Kasey Millstead in exchange for an honest review.
Liar, Lair was as I knew it would probably be an excellent read. Kasey always does a wonderful job of creating characters that you can relate to and enjoy. Never did I spend any time thinking that the h was immature or whiny or weak. And the H was determined and strong with slight alpha tendencies but never did he slap his chest and walk all over his h, unless they were having sex, he definitely slapped his chest and “walked” all over her during sex.
We read to get away from our reality and this book did exactly that while I was deep within its pages. While not a long read like I usually enjoy; but have a hard time finding it was a fast fun read. The story line was a bit of a stretch, because really how many of us come across billionaire real-estate moguls in our lives, but was an enjoyable stretch. Makenna was fun and strong and levelheaded. Benny was quiet at first but once he made a choice to change his life he quickly became strong and sure. Both were willing to admit that mistakes were made and each played a defining roll in their relationships failure.
This story is ultimately about deciding that you have had enough of the situation, whatever it may be, that you find yourself in and changing it. It’s also about being truthful, and lying, even by omission, is still a lie and can sometimes come with lasting consequences.

HASH(0x88c4e42c) out of 5 stars Hot Sexy Read! 13 Dec. 2015
By Julianne Knutson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Kasey Millstead is a new author to me and “Liar,Liar” was an amazing read.

Benny Duncan is basically in a loveless marriage where his wife is more concerned with social status and money so that she doesn’t even pay attention to her husband. To stay out of his wife's way he immerses himself into his job.

Makenna Banks is known for her skills at finding out the truth and she just got hired by Regina to see if her husband is having an affair. Too bad Makenna doesn’t realize that Regina is the witch and she just got played.

Will Makenna be able to tell what's a lie or not before it's too late or was their relationship the biggest lie of them all?

Makenna and Benny were characters that you instantly felt a connection to and what I really loved about this story was when Benny started to grow a back bone.

You could tell that he did love his wife at one point, but when he was with Makenna he was able to be himself and grow more and more. The writing, plot and chemistry was so good that I didn’t pause. I just kept reading until I reached the end. Even if it was in the middle of the night.

HASH(0x88c4e6b4) out of 5 stars #FASTPACEDSEXYGOODNESS 15 Dec. 2015
By Jennifer Pierson: The Power of Three Readers - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Dear Kasey Millstead, this is the first book I've read by you, and I'm a new FAN! I devoured this story in one sitting! 28 year old, Makenna Banks, is an highly independent, successful woman that spends her time discovering the truth for her clients. Her past had a hand in her mindset, and she's made a career out of it. She never has any problem with any of her cases, until the newest case has her following a man that she feels a big connection with. Benny Duncan has catered to his parents wishes his whole life. It has him stuck in a marriage that he's extremely unhappy in, and will do anything else rather than go home. He meets a woman at the gym that has him questioning his life as she brings him back to life. No matter how hard he tries, he can't get his mind off of her. With the secrets exploding all around Benny and Makenna, will they have a chance at a happily ever after when the dust settles?

WOW! This book is fantastic! The character development is great, with secondaries adding to the story perfectly. A fast paced, sexy, and well written story line flowed very smoothly. I had a super easy time relating to the realistic characters. The author had me hooked from the very beginning, and held me hostage until I finished the last page. She builds up the suspense very well, and the sexy scene goodness is SMOKIN'! An insane stalker rounds this amazing and fast paced read, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

HASH(0x88c4e8f4) out of 5 stars **** A Hot and Steamy Read**** 19 Dec. 2015

I received an ARC in replace of honest reviews "Liar Liar" by Kasey Millstead

I think this book was written well and had a great story line. This short, but oh so sweet and charming story captivated my attention right from the start and was a very enjoyable read. The characters were believable and I found them easy to relate to and felt lots of emotions in me while I was reading this book. Both lead characters, Makenna and Benny had chemistry between that was very steamy and hot.

Makenna Banks leading female character has a job to complete the job she’s been tasked to do by her client. But as much as her job means to her, as she decisively plays her role, she finds herself lying to the leading male character Benny Duncan.

Benny lives a life of lies as well but he is the only one who seems to be suffering. By allowing his life to be controlled by his influential parents, he lived two different lives And was stuck in a loveless marriage.

This book was so hot and steamy and would defiantly recommend this book to all my friends who read the same types of books I do. I am addicted to reading and am glad received a chance to review this book in exchange for honest feed back.
