Printing was reasonably competent, copying fine and scanning a bit tedious with poor software. However the big problems were running costs. It gobbled toner and needed a new fuser unit after less than eighteen months of light use. My last laser (an OKI) lasted nearly six years before it finally got retired. I didn't buy new drums when they finally needed renewing as a new printer appeared to be cheaper. I now realise that this was a false economy. I will not replace the fuser on the Lexmark as to do so would cost more than a new printer. This was my first and last Lexmark.
I really like the printer. The only down side is that when using on the network, changing the network name in the router appears to cause problems - I would like it to appear as a useful and meaningful name. Product was delivered quickly at a good proce
This is a great and affordable multifunction colour laser printer with duplex capability. The print quality is supperb, and the duplex simply saves you paper. Delivery was prompt - expedited. I have no regrets!
