i received this card in good condition, and everything worked well.
It was clear to tell the difference from this card to one of my cheap class 10, it's faster.
after a while i tested the actual speed of it, after several tests the answer was clear, it could only write/read at 45 mb/s, i confronted lexar whit it, and got the answer that i need a special card reader as they (ofcause) made, to get the full out of my card.
I know that the card reader i use now, can read/write way faster than the card, so i think it is ridiculous that you need to buy one their "own" readers to get the full performance..

I think it is an fantastic card, and i would recommend to anyone, the only reason why i only give 4 stars, is because of the little "problem" where you have to buy their own reader, in order to get the full performance out of it.

Bought this to complement my new EM-1 camera, and it does what I want it to do, i.e.; it doesn't hold back the performance of a very good camera. Shooting sequentially has been a breeze, and read and write times seem brisk enough. A good make and a good card, supplied with a code to access some photo retrieval software should you inadvertently press the delete button on an image that you wished to keep. Storage wise 16GB gives plenty of space for shooting extensive reams of digital photos (about 1hr 20 of video, or over 1800 jpegs at high resolution, or a goodly amount of RAW). I may give the Sony 32GB SDHC card a go as further back up, but I would hate to have a bigger card in only to lose the lot through card failure, and anyway, how much storage space do you need on a card?
A good card, and a good make = one happy bunny!

I have used many different cards over the years both SD & CF and have always gone with the price and the money I'VE HAD IN MY POCKET.... Until recently, when having purchased a magazine, (Unnamed) that had a full review of every card you could imagine in type, speed and price. Well, basically the Lexar Professional cards for both SD & CF came out on top for speed and least likely to crash. they were not cheap but not the dearest far from it. Also, every disc comes with a download available key pass to get Lexar's own recovery software just in case.
I've never had to get a single Lexar card recovered as none of them have crashed on me, which is a bonus, but it's peace of mind you have the software available if you want it.
These cards have one of the fastest speed read write times at both USB 2 & 3, which not all cards work with incidentally.
I ordered my cards from Amazon, they arrived the next day and what can I say....they work just fine.

The product.

These cards come from MyMemory via the Amazon market place. I ordered on the Monday and they arrived on the Thursday. They came correctly boxed and well packed. These are genuine Lexar cards. Them come boxed with a code to download Lexar card recovery and management software incase you accidently erase the cards etc. I have downloaded this but not (and hope not) used the software to recover a card. The software looks well prodcued and has plenty of options to recover data.

Perforamnce.

I used two of these in a Nikon D7000. Using best quality JPEG these cards stored the files with very little slow down of the camera using 6 frames per second. They really are fast.

Overall.

A great and relaible product delivered quickly by MyMemory at a good price. I will buy more Lexar cards in future.

I bought this card in excitement after finding it's price is about £10 cheaper than the Sandisk extreme pro 95mb/s 64GB. However, I only later found out the write speed is only 20mb/s written on package, and not disclosed in the item description on the sales page. I tried it over the weekend, the read speed is fine. The write speed however, is visibly slower than the Sandisk card I mentioned above, which has a write speed of 90mb/s. While using the Sandisk, immediately after I've taken a shot I can click view photos button on camera (D750) and the photo would appear instantly. In contrary, the Lexar has a 1-2 second delay which is very frustrating since I'm used to the speed of Sandisk! I should have returned the product the moment I saw the 20mb/s on package! This write speed should be readily available in the product description.

Well so far so good, it is coping admirably with both writing and reading/transferring data to and from the card. As an experiment I fired a burst at maximum rate on my 7D Mk2, followed by an experimental video @ 24fps Hi Quality. No problem at all,with buffering and transferring. I suppose the question on how well it lasts at this performance will only be found out in time, but other Lexar cards I've had have had no problems.
