The unabrigded text of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" always gets 5 stars from me. It's my favourite book, there is no other book that I have come back to again and again like that book. I love the crazy dialogues and characters!
So here I'm not reviewing the text, but rather the art/illustrations of Yayoi Kusama that you find in this particular edition. And nothing but 5 stars will do!
The illustrations are varied, colourful and playful. Sometimes abstract; dots and patterns, and sometimes recognicable figures/characters. I love it!

This is an edition you can read in public without thinking that others see you reading a "childrens book". At the end of the book there is a short presentation of the artist.

Lovely book no matter what age the reader is, makes a beautiful present - awkwardly I'm now trying to think of more people who would appreciate it as much as the 33 year old and 2 year old I bought this for

I bought the book mostly for the illustrations. They are very unusual and absolutely delightful, what a treat!
Extra thanks go to the seller for dealing with a minor hiccup with the highest level of customer service, can't recommend highly enough!

Brilliant twist of an old original. On a par with Mervyn Peake and Sir John Tenniel. My friend loved it too.

The art work within this book is stunning and contemporary. It makes the book so much more wondrous, if that is even possible.
