There is, however, a reason I'm docking a star, and it's the slight layout changes. There's one less row in the dot grid (26 as opposed to 27), resulting in less total space to write. There's still enough space between the last row of dots and the page number to fit one more row, especially since the entire dot grid has been also shifted up the page by a few mm, so I don't really understand the reasoning behind removing a row.
The index is also only two pages instead of three like my previous Leuchtturm had, which might cause me problems because I almost ran out of index space in the 3-page index... oh well. Still a lovely notebook.
However for some reason they have redesigned the layout of this notebook (and despite being told it was only the limited edition books, it seems all the notebooks have gone through this change) and maybe it only bothers me because I have problems with change, but the dots are now almost at the edge of the page instead of having a gap, and there is a bigger blank space at the bottom of the page too. They have also changed the index pages.
That being said, the paper quality is still good and overall it's a nice notebook.
But we are barely 2 months in and there are pretty visible marks on the cover already (and I keep it on my desk at all times).
The elastic band holds the journal but it’s not so strong ...
The pages basically see- through...on one hand this helps with copying my weekly pages but on the other hand it’s quite distracting
Definitely not gonna purchase again
Stander Leuchtturm1917 quality but with a gorgeous metallic front cover (which has probably ruined all the other covers for me as I don't ever want to get rid of the copper one... I'm worried for when I fill it up! haha).
