This book came up as a recommendation. I'm so pleased I bought it. I have really enjoyed this book. At first I thought it a little light on descriptive writing but I just loved the way it was a quick and easy read. I loved Sloan and Lox and what the hell.....all of the characters! Little Sage or Slick as named by the men at the gym was a fab little character. I'm intrigued as to why Huck and Elizabeth are at each other's throats and hope all the guys get their hands on Drake and give him what for! I would certainly recommend this book to others and will be looking out for Sly and Kara' s story.

This book is just amazing. I love all MMA books think it's because they protect the ones they love and I need that. Anyway I loved this one, being a single mom I can picture me being Sloan and I can understand where she is coming from. I love the twins they are so funny and make you giggle after a sad part in the book, they look out for each other.

I can't wait to read the next one and I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this book.

First book in a MMA Series and I am a shoe in – never going to not read this, I am happiest when I have a fighter in my hands!
Sloan was the best single mom you could ever wish to have, she turned her back on an ex that when he made it big, and thought she would just take his money and abort what he thought was nothing more an her problem. But Sloan had other ideas then and she still does. Her son Sage was the only man that mattered in her life and that didn’t look like changing anytime soon.
But when Lox Storm’s butt lands on her massage table, life for them both is never going to be the same again.
Lox trains at Marco’s gym and is doing everything he can to turn pro but when he gets injured his future is in Sloan’s hands, little did he know that his heart was too.
Lox is the son of a single mom , so he has an understanding of the situation that Sloan is in all be it from Sage’s point of view but the resistance he meets from Sloan has him all the more determined to find a way through her armour. The connection is too intense to let it fizzle.
I liked the two of them, they were an engaging pair and when they finally got their act together they were everything I could have possibly hoped for

Letting Lox In is book #1 in the Marcos MMA boy’s series and the first book I have read by this author. I was gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads too Much.

Hmmm I like fighter books, there’s something about the gruff, raw intensity that comes with a MMA fighter that makes them super yummy and sexy.

I like it when they are alpha and bossy, I like the ‘me man, you woman’ fantasy that tends to comes with this genre of books!!

Hell I’m not afraid to say it Fighters make me all hot and bothered!!!

Now Lox, Huck and Sly….. I hate to say this but….. They are incredibly feminine! Obviously these characters were imagined and brought to life by a female author, but for me these characters were decidedly metrosexual!!!

Now for some women that might be sexy and part of their charm but for me it just made them a bit girly.

These three hard core fighters were obsessed with grey’s anatomy WTF!!! Lox uses the word Sweetie now perhaps I’m nit picking but that’s a very feminine term of endearment.

Now Sloan, Kara and Elizabeth I liked a lot, they were women’s women and likeable.

I felt like everyone was just a bit too nice even the bad guy ultimately admitted his faults and was sort of forgiven.

This book was just Ok for me Letting Lox In gets 3 stars from me.

A decent read, some great characters with stories to tell. Well worth a read, found the writing style a bit stilted in places but didn't deter from enjoying the book.
