I came across this gem of a book whilst browsing for pregnancy books (I am expecting my first child). Its different from the well recommended pregnancy tomes in that its written from the perspective of the mother to be in the form of weekly letters to her unborn child. After each letter there's a useful space for your own notes plus very straightforward info relating to the subject of each letter. It takes you up to baby's first birthday. It covers the emotional and physical aspects of pregnancy in a unique way that both informs you, and in my case certainly resonates with how you feel during your first time as a mum to be. A bargain price too!

I received it as a gift from my friend at the time when I was expecting my first child. Written in the form of beautiful letters from a mum to be to her child takes you through all the questions of pregnancy. I love the way it does not just stop at the birth of the child and takes you further to the first birthday of the child. We have many people showering advises at the time of pregnancy but after a child is born, there is usually no one to share the feelings and hardships of a new mum. This book serves as a true companion and helps you understand that it is not only you and that every new mother faces similar situations. The simple language and the fact that it is written as letters, instantly connects you with the character. A must read for all mums to be and the new mums.
