Overall though what I liked most about this book was how realistic it is and that sometimes life sucks and things happen that have a total randomness to them and this story portrayed that beautifully. Yet it still managed to be lighthearted, sweet, fun and hot. Mainly thanks to Trey who came across as a bad boy, but was so much more than that and Kailey who I wasn't sure about but loved by the end and they really did work well as a couple together.
I would definitely recommend this book, but advise you have a box of tissues handy.
Roller coaster of emotions? Hell yes
Some twists and turns? Yes to that
Some ass sex? Damn sure
Hot guys? Oh my of course
This is the third in the series and they just keep getting better, the guys are hot, the characters are those you can relate to, the stories are believable ,,, and your gonna be gripped ;)
Michelle has definitely excelled herself with this one ,,, it has ups downs you'll be laughing and crying ,,, man will you cry ,,, she has so e really deep storyline here with this book so please be warned I'm not one to cry with a book in fact only ever once have I cried ,,, UNTILL I read Let Me Love ,,, I cried, then I cried again ,,, and then a few more times after that too.
Michelle has truly come at this from all angles adapting the storyline right the way through thinking of every little detail and not leaving no stone unturned ,,, she has kept me turning the pages and other than real life getting in the way on occasion I honestly couldn't put it down ,,, yes people it really is that good :)
Trey was a player he would shag about no care no feelings no emotions he wouldn't care who he did or where he did them as long as he got what he needed ,,,, then there was Kailey!!
Kailey is a young woman that's had bad time thrown at her and as if her parents dying wasn't enough she had to deal with more heartache than most people couldn't even imagine ,,, she noticed Trey a while about but he'd not seen her ,,, until the airplane ,,,
,,,, and so the story of Trey and Kailey begins ,,,,
Life throws some serious curveballs at some people ,,, more than others ,,, but how much can these young souls take??? They both have things they have kept hidden but they share those with each other and develop their relationship
I'm gonna have to end this review here as there are a few things that happen and you really need to read them ,,, I'll not spoil it for you ,,, just please keep the tissues close by ,,, and expect a few shocks along the way :)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL :)
This book focuses on the story of Trey and Kailey. I LOVED these two as a couple, and I soooo fell in love with Trey. He is your typical womaniser. He sleeps with a woman and then he moves on, which is fine by him until he meets Kailey. What is it about her? He doesn't know, but he's intrigued and he wants more. Much too Kailey's dismay. She doesn't want anything to do with him and pretty much tries to avoid him, which makes him work harder to get her attention.
You really do feel for Kailey as she has sooo much on her plate, and a lot of family issues means that all her attention is there and therefore she struggles with college, never mind throwing a relationship into this. I really loved the anticipation in this book and not knowing what was coming next. There were some MAJOR shock and awe moments for me and it had me glued to the book from the onset. You just dont see the twists coming, but when they do your like, 'whaatt?!'
This book will have you feeling so many different emotions throughout, but at the end it is so heartwarming. I didn't know whether I wanted to hug or strangle the author at some points, but it was soooo worth it. I loved every second.
I nearly cropped a star because there are some humdingers of typing, grammar and punctuation errors which really pull you out of the story, but making Trey sing 'Elderly woman sitting behind the counter in a small town' as a bedtime song was so touching I stuck one back on.
This book made me swoon and cry, I loved the chemistry between trey and kailey. Also, like the way the old characters are still entwined in the storyline.
I cannot wait for the next book.
Love Michelle's work n it's another winner for me!
