I have followed the career of Dave Mason since his Traffic Days. When he went solo I continued to follow his career. This is by far his greatest commercial achievement. There are so many great songs included in the CD.
The standouts are Let It Flow, So High, We Just Disagree, and Seasons. The rest of the CD holds up very well. His voice has never sounded better. Once again outstanding sound quality coupled with great arrangements.
If you purchase only one CD from Dave Mason, this is the one. He is backed by a very accomplished singer/writer, Danny Daucas on guitar. The backup band is top notch. This is another example of a great rock CD from
the 70's that contains great lyrics and music.

HASH(0x94ceeccc) out of 5 stars Underrated 70's gem 5 Mar. 2000
By JP Wheeler - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Dave Mason, while never being a critical success seemed during the mid 70's to have found a little niche for himself. Nice guitar work and strong vocals throughout mark this as one of his finest outings. The title track, "So High" and "We Just Disagree" are obvious finds, but "What Do We Got Here" has always struck me as a simple yet compelling song of lovers who just aren't quite sure that this is the one. All in all not the album of the decade, but an enjoyable listen for fans of Traffic, Spencer Davis Group and of softer guitar rock.

HASH(0x94ceee1c) out of 5 stars Take the time to find this CD 24 Oct. 2002
By Brett Simpson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This was the album that nearly made Mason an outright star. It still didn't quite happen, but it definitely should have. The three charting singles - "So High", the title cut and "We Just Disagree" (His only major hit) are all highlights, but you can get all of those on "Long Lost Friend". The remainder of the material, particularly the self-penned songs are just as strong and make this one of his best efforts - not quite up to the all-conquering power of "Alone Together" but pretty close.
It is a softer album, with a lot of accoustic guitars, and fantastic vocal harmonies, but it also has a lot of energy and passion. Mason's skills as a singer, writer and guitarist are too often overlooked, so don't let his undeservedly low profile keep you from discovering some of the finest pop/rock of the 70s.

HASH(0x932985c4) out of 5 stars FOnd Memories of Years Gone By 7 Sept. 2000
By Ron Janke - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
In the mid to late seventies I was greatly influenced by my older sister's record collection. Through her I had my first savory taste of Pink Floyd, Cat Stevens and Rick Wakemen. So when, in 1978, she married and moved away, I found myself lacking for more "adult" music than what was available on the local AM radio stations. After a couple of years I went to visit my sister and her husband, and while there checked out their music. What I found was an absolute marvel; Dave Mason - Let it Flow. As an amateur musician I lost myself in Dave's intricate playing. And, as a normal male in his early twenties, Dave's lyrics really hit home; heartache, loss and hope all resonate with Mason's voice. This is an excellent album that I highly recommend to anyone that has any appreciation of "good" music.

HASH(0x94ceefd8) out of 5 stars An excellent album 5 Jan. 2012
By J. Bynum - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Dave Mason / Let it Flow: All but a couple of these tunes were radio standards in the late 1970's and yet, these day, Dave is all but absent from the airwaves and practically unknown to a generation of music lovers. Dave, and this album, deserves more respect. This is a terrific album and it earns Five Stars.

HASH(0x93446210) out of 5 stars Such a soothing CD - great buy 6 Sept. 2012

I saw Dave Mason recently in concert and the songs brought back such great memories. I used to have this LP. I had to get the CD and now it's on my computer, my MP3 Player and in my car.

Dave sounded as wonderful today as he did 20 some years ago.
