Item arrived as promised on time. Only niggle is that it comes with XP pro loaded and not Windows 7. However Windows 7 can be loaded but a bit long winded.

Worst PC I have ever owned

There's a lot of choice in the notebook market, so it beats me why Lenovo would launch this turkey. Not only would it put off new Lenovo users, but it has certainly dissuaded this long-time ThinkPad advocate from going near the brand again. It is without doubt the worst computer I have ever owned. ThinkPads were once famed for their brilliantly responsive keyboards; no longer, it seems, as mine has been plagued with issues since day 1. There is a major issue with a constantly-running fan, which it turns out Lenovo has known about since before launching the product, but which it has not bothered to tell users about. Annoying Lenovo "wireless switch" pop-ups, which are pointless yet seemingly impossible to get rid of, an inconveniently-sized screen, a highly unresponsive track-pad, poor design (USB ports etc are under a rim, which means fiddling around a the side of the chassis before plugging anything in) and tons of other features designed to slow down performance. It used to be a sure bet that you could buy a ThinkPad directly from Lenovo and expect quality, but it sure doesn't seem that way any more. Hugely disappointing.
