Two modes for work and play
The Lenovo MIIX has a detachable keyboard that gives you access Laptop and Tablet modes, and its hinge allows you to adjust screen angles for picture-perfect viewing, just like a traditional notebook PC.
HD IPS Display
The MIIX 300 can be titled, rotated and placed at odd angles without sacrificing picture quality, thanks to the MIIX 300’s IPS display technology.
Windows 10
Windows 10 is familiar and easy to use, with lots of similarities to Windows 7 including the Start menu. It starts up and resumes fast, has more built-in security to help keep you safe, and is designed to work with software and hardware you already have.
Integrated Webcams
The 2 MP front and 5 MP rear cameras will help you enjoy web conferences or online video chats like you’re really there.

Display. I had my doubts considering screen brightness and overall quality of the screen, but those doubts vanished quickly. Currently I am writing this review in a room filled with the daylight and the sky is clear. Sun shines from the windows located to my right. I see some minor reflections of me, but it doesn't annoy me. I can clearly see what I am typing although I need to close my eyes a little bit, because of the sun shining directly from the window. I hope you'll get the picture. Tablet has screen protector applied? (UPDATE: have no idea if it was screen protector, but after removing it screen quality improved very much. And if it was screen protection, it was the worst one I have ever seen). I have no idea if screen is scratch resistant. For my personal taste picture quality is good, have no idea about color reproduction. Overall, good impressions.
Chassis. It's heavy when keyboard attached. My mechanical kitchen scale is showing between 1100 and 1200 grams. The tablet's and detachable keyboard's outer surface is a fingerprint magnet, but rubberized surface has a very nice feeling when held in hands. A little bit wobbly screen. When screen is attached to the keyboard it doesn't stay in one place . I can move it to/from me. It could be an issue if it is used in a car on a bumpy road, I had no issues with that and only accidently noticed it after some time of usage.
Keyboard/touchpad. Very comfortable to type (in comparison to other tablet keyboards I used). Most keys are full-sized. Some keys are misplaced, some time is needed to get used to it. I like the way keyboard adjusts when screen's angle is changed. It gives some angle to the keyboard, other tablets with keyboards which I used just lay flat on the desk. When using laptop I use laptop stand for that reason, here it is not needed. Touchpad is satisfactory. Only problem I've noticed is when selecting text. While one finger holds left button, more than usual force must be applied in order text to be selected. It's quite annoying sometimes. Multitouch(zoom in/out) works fine. I use mouse anyways.
Ports and connectivity. In keyboard there are 2 full-sized usb ports and 1 micro usb in the tablet. Charger's cable is proprietary, I was unable to charge the device through its micro usb port. (it is possible to use any other usb charger with provided charging cable, currently I am using samsung's charger, because I haven't though stock charger would be for UK sockets). I have nothing to complain considering wifi. My laptop (lenovo y510p) often has problems connecting to the router, which is loctated on floor above behind about 3 walls. During three hours of work and playing around with lenovo tablet, it had never disconnected and the strength of the signal is quite good. Also my Sony's bluetooth headphones work without issues with wifi enabled. That's a relief, because I had the issue with disrupted sound with my laptop when bluetooth and wifi are used at the same time.
Performance. Not much to complain. First time boot was slow and tablet felt very laggy. Updates were the reason for that. After all updates were installed, I had no bigger problems with performance. Yes, it doesn't perform like a powerful laptop, because it is not a powerful laptop. On some web pages heavy with flash lag is seen (via chrom browser), unresponsive scrolling. Usually, there are no problems with that. When chrome opened with 4 amazon pages and few google search pages and onedrive syncing in the background I have 732MB free RAM. Netflix via browser works without lag, youtube videos also work good. Now I opened two browser windows, in one netflix playing in other some random 720p 60fps youtube video. Both videos are handled quite well. Some lag is seen, but I think the most likely reason for that is my network connection.
Overall, it is a great purchase for the price. Would definitely recommend.
The touchpad can be oversensitive and jumps the cursor sometimes. The sound forced me to return it as with the volume at 100% i couldn't hear movies or music through the headphones or speakers over day to day white noise. The headphones are good quality and work fine with my phone.
The other thing that's not a deal breaker if kept in a case is the rear of the screen and keyboard attract grease like nothing I've ever used before which leaves it looking a bit dirty most of the time. But as you can see i enjoyed it and have given it four stars.
On the bright side though, it has a micro sd card slot which I find really useful, and two USB 2.0 ports in the keyboard, although it would have been nice to have USB 3.0.
Overall, it's just ok for what is a cheap tablet/netbook.
