I received these as a gift and I was surprised by how large the cards are in comparison to the Piatnik and the Mystical deck. They are the same size as Angel cards. The pictures are very classic, soft and dreamy with nice backs. A bit difficult to shuffle but okay once you get going.
I really, really like the book. It's not a typical Lenormand LWB, it's chunky and it includes reverse meanings, which is not traditional Lenormand. It also includes Gypsy meanings, and different spreads. So I presume their aim was to truly do an Oracle deck, not just straight Lenormand. In this I feel they have succeeded.

HASH(0x8b6f860c) out of 5 stars Great Deck, As Pictured 14 Sept. 2013
By Brian Warner - Published on Amazon.com

I was concerned from another reviewer who ordered this deck and got something else. However, I just received my deck today and it's exactly as the one pictured.

The cards are very nice. I think they are larger then the usual Lenormand styled cards. These are about the size of a Tarot card. They have the card inserts and the watercolor paintings. It also comes with a booklet of instructions, in English, that give the definitions as well as two layouts.

The main reason I subtracted one star, is that the spreads/layouts offered in the simple book are not very practical. The first spread you are to do on New Years Day... so it's a spread you'll use once a year? If you had 2 spreads to give your readers, why would you pick that one? The other spread is more useful. However, the books definitions of the cards also seemed to waiver what I read from other authorities on Lenormand.

Another reason, I took off a star... if your style is to use direction of the card (i.e. man faces woman, man faces away from woman) to influence the meaning - this deck will be frustrating. The man and woman cards both face the same direction. So they will never face each other. Likewise the clouds are not split light on the left, dark on the right. So if you go by a card bordering the light side, you'll either have to infer left = light or not using that method of meaning.

I think if you are new to Lenormand (like me) this is a great card set. It looks beautiful and has a great feel to it. But you'll need to follow the advice from another source then the accompanied book most likely.

I noticed the book does card reversals... I hadn't heard of that before from other Lenormand teachers. In fact it seems almost alone on the matter.

At any rate, it's a great deck. There are so few to actually find easily obtainable in the states. This one you can get via Amazon Prime, and it looks great.

HASH(0x8b6f8834) out of 5 stars Nice deck ~ Not practical to use in the Grand Tableau ~ A "beef" about consecrating the deck 4 Mar. 2015

WARNING! This deck is HUGE! Cards are 5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide. Cards may be hard to shuffle if you have small hands and fingers. Additionally, unless you have a rather large table to perform The Grand Tableau with this deck forget it! Comes with a 159 page booklet and well-crafted box to hold the cards. Outside of the over-sized cards, I take issue with Consecrating the Deck segment. The author claims: This is done just once before using the cards for the first time and never again. It is best to do it on the winter solstice or between December 26 the and January 6th. My thoughts? Uhm... NOT!!! I doubt anyone will seriously wait that long to make use of a deck, and in all honesty? I think that the idea of such is total nonsense.

HASH(0x8b6f8a98) out of 5 stars HUGE CARDS!!! 16 Feb. 2014

Just so we're clear - these are Lenormand cards. They have traditional style artwork on the cards. However, they are HUGE cards for a Lenormand deck. Lenormand cards are typically the same size as Bridge cards or sometimes even Poker cards (although they can be smaller) but they are not generally the size of large tarot cards. That said, the cards read as any other traditional or traditionally-styled Lenormand deck. The large size may be better-suited for someone with failing eyesight or whose hands prefer a larger sized card (I find them difficult to shuffle due to their large size - but I also find many tarot decks difficult to shuffle for the same reason). he card stock is thick so I'm guessing it may be well-wearing. Certainly not flimsy.

Since they are so large, it does mean you would need a very large area to lay out a Grand Tableau. However, if you have the space to do so, then these cards can come in handy - especially if you are the sort who also likes to read the House cards in a GT. The large size of these cards actually works out well to be the "house cards" in a GT while a more normal-sized deck of Lenormand cards would be shuffled and laid on top for a GT reading. In fact, I used one of the cards in this deck as a tracer onto a piece of fabric to create my own Lenormand GT spread cloth.

HASH(0x8b6f8dd4) out of 5 stars boxed lenormand oracle cards 23 Aug. 2013

The cards come nicely boxed.
Set includes a mini book with 159 pages of instructions, has upright and reversed meanings for each card plus some layouts.
Each card is 3.50 x 4 7/8 inches. book is same dimentions.
The cards are bigger than im used to using, i find the size hard to shuffle.
The artwork i do like alot. I've always been a fan of victorian era art.
Over all nice set and have enjoyed so far. I would recommend. just keep in mind they are large.
This is a second set i had to order. The first set was missing a card but returned to amazon for a replacement with no problem

HASH(0x8b6ff024) out of 5 stars Almost perfect. 7 Mar. 2015

I love almost everything about this; the sturdy box with a ribbon to help get the cards and book out, the cardstock used for the cards and the size of them. My issue (and the reason I knocked it down 1 star) is the images on the cards are not crisp at all. You can see it's crisp and vibrant on the cover of the book and even inside the book pages. So in the stages of enlarging the photos, they did not take the steps to make sure it's stayed crisp.
I know I'm being picky but I'm just calling it like I see it. I'll post photos of what I'm talking about.
