I was first introduced to the darling little Lenore by a friend less than a year ago. I fell instantly in love with her. The cute little dead girl and her crazy adventures with her dead kitty and strange but very amusing friends. Lenore and her quirky sense of humour brings enlightenment and a joyable read to this comic. Roman Dirge is an absolute star!
you can find out more about Roma Dirge and his wonderful creations at...[the Spookyland website]..

I have no idea how to describe Lenore... Lovable, but terrible... Roald Dahl meets Nightmare Before Christmas. A deliciously wicked humour and a ruthless disposal of cute furry things! You either love the little girl or fear her. It's the kind of comic that will thoroughly absorb you, make you laugh out loud and then get you kicked off the bus.

Lenore returns in issues 5-8 and Roman undoubtedly gets better and better. This book kept me laughing for 3 hours on a train journey to Newcastle. To find such things so funny scares my mother a lot as she dubs it 'a bit extreme hee hee'.
One very funny story is the boy with no skin on his face....' but alas this day would fill him with dred, all they wanted to do was stick things to his head'........
Also included in this is 2 bonus stories in Full Colour.
A must have book for all the alternative minds out there but I recomend to buy noogies (issues 1-4) and read this first.
