About the Author

USA TODAY BEST SELLING AUTHOR! AUTHOR RANKED TOP 10 IN ACTION ADVENTURE ON AMAZON! Luke Romyn was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1975. His life since reads like something out of his novels: heavily entrenched in personal trauma, action, thrills, and adventure. For over two decades, Luke has worked in the security industry; from bouncing in some of Australia's roughest pubs and nightclubs to protecting Mickey Mouse and the Disney crew from the overzealous jaws of tenacious toddlers. He's been bodyguard for celebrities internationally and chased feral pigs and snakes from jungle sets on Steven Spielberg productions. Luke has traveled the globe and spent time in some of the most amazing locations the world has to offer. This experience fuels the Australian writer's ever-expansive imagination, and he pours it into his novels, combining fact with fiction, history with fantasy, delivering engrossing action-thrillers which leave fans gasping for more. Luke's quick wit has seen his social media following explode, and he is currently one of the most prolific social media celebrities in Australia, with several hundred thousand followers across the internet. Publishing his first book, The Dark Path, in 2009 saw it voted in the top 10 horror novels of that year, even though Luke denies ever intending the novel to be classed as horror. Luke Romyn is now one of the most popular indie authors in the ever-growing eBook market and personally completes everything from cover art to final formatting, working tirelessly with editors so as to refine the best stories possible for his readers. The results are international bestsellers you're certain to love diving into. Hundreds of thousands of readers can't be wrong.

This is my first Luke Romyn novel and if this is the standard, it won't be my last.

The story kept me turning the pages, even when I was supposed to be going to sleep!

I'm off now to buy the next in the series!!!!

God vs Devil, Good vs Evil or a man vs his destiny?
Having read The Dark Path by Mr Romyn, I thought I had an idea of what this book would be like. I was quite wrong! The book was just the stepping stone to a whole new level of awesome!
To tell you too much about the book would, in my opinion, be wrong. I would rather you find out for yourself. What I can say is that Mr Romyn certainly knows how to weave an intricate tale that spans time itself. Twists and turns galore. The story contains amazing characters too. You have dark, evil monsters created from the genius mind of Mr Romyn, described in such detail that you can picture them in your minds eye and believe me, that can be scary at times. Then you have the good, from the sometimes reluctant bravery of man himself to the powerful guardians of all life in the universe.

The ultimate battle of Good vs Evil. Or is it? Cant wait for Book 2..............

Corpus Christi is another fantastic book by Luke Romyn. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all his books to date and this one was no exception. Every page was so brilliantly written; the story flowed, it twisted and it sucked me into the life of its self-doubting hero.

The reappearance of a few familiar faces was also a nice touch, but I can tell you this; if a world on the verge of Armageddon was ever in serious need of a miracle, it would need to come in the form of Jacob Hope. Can't wait for Book Two!

I have become a fast fan of Luke Romyn since acquiring a kindle and enjoyed the latest addition to his works immensely. This tale brings the fantastical creatures honed during the Prometheus wars to a more relevant myth of the western world. I am looking forward to book 2 . Great book Luke

I was spoiled by coming directly from the Ryder novels, and this felt somewhat pedestrian by comparison. That said, the approach is refreshing, with a somewhat reluctant second coming of Christ who is not sure that he believes in God, but nevertheless muddling his way through increasingly impossible encounters in a miraculous fashion. Gripping, but ultimately unsatisfying, complete with the, now characteristic, poor editing of his linguistic idiosyncrasies.

For all this took me a while to read - which was nothing to do with the book itself, more tiredness from looking after two kids etc - it was a wild ride from the very start that when I did get moments to myself to read I was engulfed in Romyns' vivid descriptions of events that were happening.

Whilst I am in now way shape or form religious, and since religions is somewhat of a taboo, this story did make me think, even though it pure fiction who is to say that it may never happen?

John Hope, the main character is basically having a hard time coming to terms with the fact hat he is Christ reborn and tasked with the momentous burden of saving humanity from Armageddon.

Pretty tall order for a simple guy right? He must convince not only himself but others through out his quest to stop this happening.

The book will suck you in with you are religious or not and it will definite get you thinking for sure.

I cannot wait to read book two in the series.

After being introduced to Luke Romyn, via a Kindle offer for the first book in "The Prometheus Wars", I've quickly become a fan!
Whilst it's not a sequel to "The Dark Path", it does follow a similar vein (forgive the pun as Vain, The Dark Man, does make a brief appearance).
Jacob Hope is a reluctant hero who quickly finds himself out of his depth but struggles to do the right thing as he overcomes his disbelief.
An excellent, fast-paced read that keeps you gripped until the finale.

I've already downloaded the sequel and will be eagerly awaiting Mr Romyn's next books.
