Great boots! I originally bought them for riding the motorbike in, however, since I need steelies for work, I'm wearing them there instead! I've got really wide feet, and even regular converse don't fit, so I didn't hold out much hope for these, how happy was I to find out that even my hairy toed troll feet would fit in them!
Backs of them are pretty stiff as you'd expect, but as I rarely lace all the way to the top in this type of footwear, it leaves plenty of movement space.
Like someone else, I scratched the toe on one of them almost instantly (getting on the bike on the way to work), and a bit about 10mm square came off. That sucks, but, I'm hoping a quick spray of plasti dip will sort that out, failing that, I'll pretend it's a war wound of some kind.
Lots of positive comments off mates, and while I'm only a 10, shoes can tend to look like I've slipped my plates of meat into a couple of the Norfolk Broad's finest barges, these however look pretty damn good, and I have no desire to don a round red nose, pink wig and oversized trousers.
Treat yourself to a pair, if you do light site work and need the toe caps they're a great alternative - but obviously no sole or serious ankle protection. If you're thinking about buying so you look like an extra from a californian skater boy punk rock band, these are probably not what you want as the steel toecaps may be too heavy for your skinny emo legs to lift - could be a workout though!
I'll deffo be purchasing more and pretend to be 20 years younger than I actually am.

Bought these for my girlfriend to wear at work as she's on her feet a lot and has to move some heavy stuff around. The comfort is great, they fit perfectly and look fantastic because they just look like trainers.

3 months later... oh dear. They're ripped apart at the bit on top where it bends when you're walking, the soles are completely worn down to flat so there's no grip left on them at all. Just being used for general walking (not kicking stuff about, sport or anything particularly tough for a shoe to handle) these have completely fallen apart, leak water in, and are effectively useless.

Expected much better from them, decided to buy the Rhino boots from Firetrap instead. Avoid.

Had these boots for 2 years+, iv used them for carpentry and joinery college (bench indoors) - iv used them for a student job (working at sainsburys). - they have had heavy use! Now - iv dropped many things on them, they've survived mud, water, rain, wood chips, constant abuse. From all of this The only damage is "scuffs and chips out of the toe of the shoe" which arnt too noticiable. - every few months I service them and remove laces + brush them out. Recently I used swarfega and a toothbrush and cleaned them thoroughly <- I have been asked if Iv bought new boots. After 2 years they look nearly new, the sole has worn well (plenty of tread left), the insides are worn as expected (partial internal wear), nothing is hanging off, no rubber cracking around toe movement, no fabric creasing/deterioration. The only problem is that I found the original laces don't last long. my British knights casual shoes are 2 months old and in worse condition. These are the best shoes iv ever bought. give them a bit of TLC every once in a while and they will last - I predict I'll get another 1-2 Years of use before they start getting tired. OVERALL - I'd recommend them to everyone and iv even been asked where I bought them (yes other people have bought them in my class) - best buy. Seriously recommend for people in construction who want casual comfort with great toe protection!

I was getting tired of walking around the sites all day with big heavy boots especially as i'm a Joiner & Carpenter and so have to carry a lot of tools and materials back and fourth, so thought i'd get myself some safety trainers to use on the dry day's or day's when i'll be working inside or up on scaffolding, so looked online for a while and found these they had good reviews and i thought they looked quite smart so purchased them, they arrived really quickly and the minute i put them on before starting work a knew they would be great on the sites. Their light, very comfortable, great fit and look good too they feel and look like a normal pair of trainers but give you the protection of a steel toe boot and at half the weight and for once when i clock out at the end of the day i don't mind leaving them on while driving the van back home.

So happy to find small sizes at such a good price and design. The insoles and ankles are cushioned really well. Especially for me when I have to be on my feet all day. These really look smart and it was a lovely surprise to get a red pair of laces as well. My only downside is how thin the laces are. I can't see them lasting long and will probably fray easily with the top eyes.

The outer sole are just like converse. If anyone has had converse before you will know these soles don't last long and wear really fast. So you should of expected fast wear and tear on the sole before you bought them. The issue is these are so comfortable I'm not only wearing them for work but also as a main shoe. Whereas my other work boots hurt so much I couldn't wait to get them off. I have had more expensive boots wear much faster than these.
My top tip is try not to wear them too much if you want them to last. I always have two pairs of work boots and swap them round for what am doing that day.
