Franklin Pereira has been researching old documents of the trades related to leather, which allowed writing articles for heritage and craft-oriented magazines; he has also learnt ancient ways of leatherwork with old masters of Portugal and Spain. In Portugal he has six books published on leather arts, some of which are museums’ catalogues.
