I read the reviews of this book and spent some time deciding whether to invest in the kindle edition as it is quite pricey. Although I am very happy with my kindle overall the tables and diagrams in this book a pretty much unreadable. It is quite embarrassing being a teacher and actually having a book where school is spelt incorrectly! I would only recommend buying a hard copy of this book.

As the title says this book is an absolute must for all potential primary school teachers. It contains so much knowledge, i have used it for every single assignment! In fact I'm now acutely aware that now im in my second year I really should find 'The Bibles' replacement. Worth every penny.

I bought this for my girlfriend and while she insists the conetent is excellent I am very dissapointed with the quality for iPad. For £20 I would at the very least expect the word 'school' to be spelt correctly, it appears as 'scool' in the header of every page and in the title of the book on the kindle store, a large amount of punctuation is also absent and the tables and charts aren't optimised for the iPad. Come on kindle store, this isn't a cheap paperback.

This book is really very good; the chapters (or units within a section)are small enough to read easily. Each is written by a different expert so they are in a fresh style. The illustrations, supporting tables and diagrams are simple and clear.

This book is very useful, covers wide content for those who want to teach/ training to teach in primary schools, touches upon many different areas looking at theory, discussion around contemporary issues within education and care. Has been near vital textbook for my university course, very, very helpful.

this was one of the recommend texts for my course at university and i found it quite helpful and not too hard to read like many other books. Its broken up into sections which aren't too long so its easy to review after each chapter. haven't finished it yet but so far so good.

The bok was bought as a present for a niece because she claimed to be seriously interested in teaching at primary school level. I thought it a level-headed, sensible guidebook. I'm not sure how much notice she took, but at any rate she has given up the idea of teaching!

This is an excellent read. Unfortunately though, my copy had a page folded over towards the end of the book, and when unfolded I noticed the print was missing. This is a little disappointing, however, it is the fault of the printer/publisher not the seller.
