The fourth book in the excellent Corbin's bend series introduced us to Erin and Zach, a couple with two young children already living in Corbin's Bend at the start of the story. Zach and their two young daughters have settled well into the community but Erin is struggling to feel at home and doesn't feel as though she has made any friends.

Erin's mentor encourages her to meet new people by helping her host a dinner party. The plan works and Erin befriends Jen, carol and Sienna - a fun bunch of girls who like to go out and sink a few martinis while the kids are at school. Their afternoon activities even include - by way of a sort-of dare - a bit of afternoon pot smoking in a nearby town. When their public disorderliness gets them in trouble with the local law enforcement, the police officer in charge decides to get in touch with Brent Carmichael - President of Corbin's Bend's board.

Whether this is an act of kindness or not depends how you feel about the disciplinary measures meted out at Corbin's Bend which occasionally include public spankings in front of the community.Needless to say the ladies receive a very painful lesson although it does come with a marvellous opportunity to redeem themselves with they throw themselves into whole-heartedly.

This is a wonderfully funny book. The camaraderie is nicely done and the pot-smoking scene is hilarious. The relationship between Zach and Erin is sweet and believable. I especially liked how the children characters were handled in this story. It's quite a difficult balance including kids in a spanking book but Constance Masters does it beautifully, showing the adult characters to be great - if believably flawed - parents and painting Corbin's Bend as a brilliant place to raise a family.

Once again, this series has provided another wonderful, fun and frequently sexy story.

This book is the 4th in the Corbin's Bend series, although it can be read as a stand-alone. This book begins with Zach and Erin already living in Corbin’s Bend. Erin is struggling to fit in with the others within the Corbin Bend Community, she feels isolated from the others and has been hiding this from Zach (who feels bad when he finds out and realises he hadn’t noticed). Erin is forced to interact with some of her neighbours but worries about how they see her; as she begins to make some friends, together they get into trouble. I really enjoyed this book and also the dynamics of their family, the family seemed very realistic with the squabbling of their daughters and the difficulties of moving to a new home. In this book we met a number of other couples; although it took me a little time to get the characters straight as they were all introduced in one scene, I liked the interaction with their neighbours. I would definitely recommend this book.

I received this as an ARC for an honest review.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

This is the fourth book in the series about Corbin's Bend, a community where Domestic Discipline and spanking are the norm, so people can relax amongst understanding neighbours. Each book brings us another couple, but ensures that we see old friends along the way. I enjoy the feeling of community that has been developing through the series. As we tend to see fairly newly arrived residents, and get to learn why they have moved here, each book could be read independently too.

In this case, a somewhat lonely Erin is led astray by her newly made friends and some very funny moments ensue. In places I felt that the behaviours were a long way away from her original character, but overall the story held together well and the message worked.

5.0 out of 5 stars When Corbin's Bend Girls Go Wild 7 July 2014

Another wonderful addition to the Corbin's Bend Series. Each book can read as a stand-alone, but are too good to miss out on any of them. Corbin's Bend is a private community about an hour or so away from Denver, CO. It is a unique community in that it is designed for individuals, couples and even families that practice a "domestic discipline" lifestyle.
Zach and Erin Cunningham moved to Corbin's Bend when they marriage was taking a turn for the worse. Since they practiced a DD lifestyle, Zach felt it was best and Erin agreed. But Erin wasn't making friends and it took Zach giving her an ultimatum about contacting her mentor. A dinner party was arranged and she realized how nice the neighbors were. Several of the other stay at home ladies invited her to join them on their Wednesday bowling league, but that was a cover up for other activities, which lands them into legal trouble. Public discipline for the four was humiliating, but their idea for the kids as part of their weekly community service brought the entire community together in a very positive way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the series! 18 Jun. 2014

This was such a wonderful idea. A community was created and different authors were invited to play there. So far, all the books have been wonderful. This book is about Zach and Erin. They moved to Corbin’s Bend because they wanted to be able to live the D/d lifestyle more openly. Unfortunately, everyone is happy except for Erin. She hasn’t made friends and is somewhat depressed about the situation. Zach is a good Hoh, but I do think that he spanks too quickly. Anyways, Erin and Zach have a dinner party and Erin makes some new friends. They all get along great, but they do bring her into their mischief. The group gets into some serious trouble and the women are publically paddled. I’m not sure about that. I think that would be a deal breaker for me. But, there is a HEA. As a side note, I would love to read about the rules of this community. They have been hinted at, but I would love to know what they are. Especially for Hoh’s. Anyways, this is another good addition to the series. I can’t wait until the next one comes out. 5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED THIS!!!!!!!!!! 13 Jun. 2014

Ive not read any of the other books in the series but I took a chance on this and this was wonderful. It had everything that I love in a spanking story , romance, love, great characters, well described scenes. I laughed at the scene where the ladies were caught doing something that they shouldnt. I will be looking at the other books in the series.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really Liked! 24 Nov. 2014

Loved Erin and Zach and the entire story. Erin has trouble adjusting to her new life at Corbin's Bend. She is encouraged to have a party to get to know others in the community. She has developed friendships with other young women with children who need a break from the order and routine of their lives. Inevitably this gets them into trouble. They end up having to face the board of Corbin's Bend. I liked the ending as now Erin is even more actively involved with the community and actively helping the children there along with the other women. This is what she needs, to feel more valued as a friend, and member of the community. Zach is a loving and caring husband and teacher as well as an involved dad. He is quite a likeable character in this story.
5.0 out of 5 stars Taking a Chance is Rewarding 21 July 2014

This is another in the Corbin’s Bend series. Erin and her husband, Zach, practice DD in the community and while Erin is grateful they moved there, she finds herself unhappy. She spends her days taking c are of their two little girls and the house as well as her husband who is a grade school teacher. Zach finally takes matters into his own hands and forces her to talk to her mentor who is kind and loving, encouraging Erin to put herself out there and make the friends she feels are missing from her life. Erin and her new friends find themselves in a big spot of trouble but though the punishment is embarrassing, all is good and Erin finally feels part of this special community and her marriage is only growing stronger. Well done and an easy read.
