About the Author

Born in Zambia to Irish parents, Bryan Dunlop s first taste of success was winning the Irish Junior Rowing Championships at the age of eighteen. His crew were then selected to row for Ireland. Bryan joined the Army as a soldier before being commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as an Officer in 2nd Gurkha Rifles. He served all over the world including service on operations. After leaving the Army, Bryan worked on a diamond mine in Angola, West Africa. When the mine was attacked by UNITA rebel army, Bryan and his team were taken into captivity. Four days later they were released and flown south to Namibia. Bryan immediately volunteered to return to civil war torn Angola and took his team back with him. After a successful career in wealth management, Bryan was invited to join the marketing training team of a FTSE 100 company and was quickly promoted into the leadership of that team. Bryan established his own leadership development business thirteen years ago. He has built a prestigious client bank from scratch. His clients include Kelloggs, Standard Life, Microsoft, Coutts and Company, and Prudential. Bryan is a business mentor for the Princes Trust and an Ambassador for the Management and Leadership Network.
