Been running it for a month and pump is already broken.
Edit : 22/08/18 Finally got pump packaged up to be sent back for repair. Was speaking to the courier who picked it up, and he said they are getting many returns of the pumps, a good amount of them apparently giving off smoke.
This is a great spa the whole family love it especially the grandchildren only one drawback the inner lid arrived split and I had a hard job getting a replacement from Bestway took almost three weeks to get resolved from Bestway not Amazon but \I have now got a great spa.
I purchased my first Monaco in 2014 at £600, whilst working this is a great tub for the money. It’s large and the jets are pretty good considering it’s just a ring with holes in.
However - within 6 months the internal bubble liner split causing all the air to rush through the 3 inch split. This rendered the jets useless. As it was still in its 18 month warranty period it was replaced.
In year 2 my heater pump broke which thankfully was just inside the warranty period and was again replaced.
In year 3 my new heater pump failed again and I was told it wasn’t covered under the warranty as the warranty is only on the new products not the replacements. I had to purchase a new pump at the cost of over £300
Now in year 4 the bubble liner has split again in exactly the same place, this is obviously a design flaw where the glue fails. Bestway don’t care, and told me I have to buy a new liner for just over £400 pounds.
So in summary, in 4 years I would have been through 3 liners and 3 pumps. So don’t expect it to last more than 2 years at best. Factoring in these costs you may be better saving up for a real hottub. That’s what I’m going to do now.
