Been running it for a month and pump is already broken.
Edit : 22/08/18 Finally got pump packaged up to be sent back for repair. Was speaking to the courier who picked it up, and he said they are getting many returns of the pumps, a good amount of them apparently giving off smoke.
We love it, it was easy to put together, and didn't take as long to fill as we were expecting, does take a while to heat up. The grandchildren can't get enough time of being in there, supervised of course. Only negative was when we need to empty the water out we found that it went a lot slower then we would have liked.
Out of everything I have bought of Amazon (and I have bought a lot) , this has most definitely been our very best buy. Its massive, easy to put together, works perfectly and is now the focal of our entertainment every night. I highly recommend this hot tub to anyone who is thinking about buying one...I was unsure about buying one at first: So pleased I bought it.
We love this hot tub. It's lovely to sit out in after work to unwind. It heats up to 40 degrees but we tend to us around 38 degrees. The bubbles are brilliant. It's pretty easy to put up though the instructions aren't great and didn't seem to match my hot tub so I looked at a couple of videos on YouTube. The only negatives are you can't use it in the winter (when it goes below 4 degrees). It's very convenient being inflatable though as you can move it around when needed.
Incredibly easy to assemble. Pump is quiet but powerful. Water temperature increases by approximately 1 degree per hour. We filled the pool from the hot tap to begin which helped jump start the heating process. Can't comment on running costs as I haven't looked!
Maintenance is pretty simple. Filters are easy to change from the point of view of positioning - filter unit is located in the pool rather than in the pump - however I have found it difficult to unscrew the two halves of the unit to change the filter. I bought an aquarium net for just a few pounds to skim out any insects, etc.
The base of the pool is not inflatable so it is less comfortable than our previous model (we have placed it on rubber mats which helps some) but this base is probably more durable than the inflatable version. We love this pool and intend to run it as long as we can into the autumn - outdoor temperatures will determine this.
The cover fits well but the design of the inflatable section fitting into the cover has a tendency to drag a lot of water out of the pool with it making it difficult to remove single-handed. We now put the two parts in separately which means a lot less water being spilled and easier single-handed removal and replacement.
We love everything about this tub!!! Totally would have given 5 stars if the filters were a little more effective. For the size of this tub (which easily seats 6 adults) the filters could do with being bigger. Super easy to put up and fantastic for when the kids are in bed! Very glad we didn't buy a moulded hot tub, this is so much better and we don't need a crane to move it either.
Had my Monaco for 10 months, my 3 boys loved it and we used it every week end, easy to chlorinate and heat overnight, but... Suddenly seal popped when I put bubbles on and no way of repairing, used it hot with no bubbles for a few days but now pump gone, just beeps error and won't heat, have tried new cartridges, no use, going to hav to dump it, very sad, would have highly recommended for size, use, assembly etc but short life not acceptable for that price ....
