I purchased this book about a year and half ago, before i purchased it i worried about everything,i had bad eczema on my hands i couldn't put my hands in a washing up bowl without protective gloves on. Then i started to read this book and i realised that through the law of attraction you attract what you think about, so i started to pay attention to my thoughts and i started to change the way i think, instead of worrying about things i changed my thoughts to positive ones, Since reading this book and other books by esther hicks i have found good things i have thought about manifest in my life, not only that but my eczema has gone completely i can even wash up without gloves on,which proves positive thinking is also very healing. Aswell as esther hicks books i have also read power of the subconscious mind by joseph murphy which is also abrilliant book. (and if i do lapse and feel a worry cominng on i just get my books out to give me a boost).

This superb book weighs in at a modest 190 pages in my copy, the shortest of the six main Abraham books at time of writing. Each and every one is a joy to possess and the positive vibration of all of Abraham's works both written and spoken is unsurpassed in my experience for the clarity and practicality of these teachings.

There is no doubt in my mind that if you are attracted to this book enough to be reading my review then the Law of Attraction is not a stranger to you even now. Buy an Abraham book, do it now, there's many to choose from and you cannot fail to benefit because each contains a hearty sampling of Abraham's profound and exquisite wisdom, with phenomenal practical value. This distinguishes Abraham as the superlative metaphysical and spiritual teacher: These teachings and their presentation is so highly evolved because they are presented now, in the 21st century when the consciousness of humanity is calling in joyous expectation of clear influential metaphysical works that are as enduringly practical as they are fascinating, thus we asked and so it was given.

The Law of Attraction is presented largely in a question and answer format with info-bites in between. Importantly, the four sections of the book each addresses a pillar of Abraham's teaching. This book will serve well anyone who likes that format and wants to read in bite-sized chunks. If you need more flow then Ask and it is Given and The Astonishing Power of Emotions are presented in the format of short digestible chapters.

Name the book and I've probably read it, or at least heard about it... never before have the how's, when's, and why's of The Law of Attraction been so simplified and foolproofed! Abraham have a very direct way of speaking without the unnecessary frills and the book is easily absorbed and understood, leaving the reader fully satisfied! Together with the techniques taught in The Secret, you'll quickly start using the Law of Attraction in a conscious way. Good luck!!

Format: Audio CD
The Law of Attraction is expressed in the simplest terms in this book which is an ongoing dialog between Abraham, a channeled guide, and the author, Jerry Hicks. Abraham speaks through Esther Hicks with simple teachings.

The Law of Attraction is described as "like attracting like." So the frequency of your thoughts whether positive or negative attract more of the same vibration to you. By becoming conscious of our thoughts and our beliefs, which are repeating thought patterns, we can gain mastery over our lives. So we are attracting the essence of our thoughts in our lives.

This CD defines success in a unique way: Success can be measured by our achievements but the authors recommend that we measure it by the joy in our life as the standard of success. Material possessions or stuff in our life alone fails to bring joy instead joy brings the highest value on its own not our collection of stuff. This is an important distinction.

Overall I would rate this as an good CD on personal empowerment. I would only caution people in not taking Law of Attraction to an extreme as their book does when it argues that a victim actually attracts the robber. This is basically blaming a victim. We need to instead focus on compassion for ourselves and others. If the Law of Attraction is used to justify attitudes that are non-compassionate then the Law may give some measure of success at a personal level yet it may fail in our responsibility as human beings. We need to grow in character and in our heart not just in our thoughts.

I also recommend "Nexus: A Neo Novel," which is an amazing journey of transformation. Logan Andrews a journalist living in California is devastated by a number of losses.

If you've never read anything by Abraham-Hicks then I would suggest buying 'Ask and it is Given' instead. If you've already read AAIIG and are looking for further reading to help strengthen your beliefs then I would suggest reading it again!

I didn't learn anything new from this book which just seemed to be a condensed version of AAIIG, with a different layout and slightly different wording. It seemed VERY repetitive, almost annoying at times and didn't give me the same uplifting feeling that AAIIG did.
