Another darn fine release from Mr Heath and friends,
with the usual help from Gretsch.
"Death Metal Guys" is a real stomper.
If you like the band, you'll love this album.
If you don't like them, it's too late,
YOUR SOUL DIED LONG AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this man and his band. Yep I agree more country-billy than rockabilly or psychobilly than anything he's released before, but with the Rev you listen to him to find out what mood he is in as much as anything. The lyrics tell such hilarious stories and are very clever too. 'Rural Point of View' manages to have you giggling out loud constantly but still be a brilliant commentary about the destruction of the rural communities by middle America. Brilliant, totally brilliant.

Top it all off with brilliant musicianship and you have an album that deserves to sell by the millions. It's completely nuts though, but who'd have the Rev any other way?!
