I LOVED IT!!!
What a brilliant book!

Ok, so let's start with wow. Just. Wow.
Angst, heartache, romance, heat, you name it, it's in Late Call.
I cannot believe that it ends the way it does, do you know how long it seems untill June now!!?

My only criticism of this book is that it ended. I wanted it to go on forever because it was just that good.
I cannot wait to read the conclusion of Dayton and Aaron's story, if it's anything like this one, I know I'm in for an amazing roller coaster read!

Emma Hart, you rock!!

Okay, so I've literally just finished this and I'm crying those silent-but-painful tears because your emotions have just gone through the wringer. That last 10% or so was rough.

But from a way before that--somewhere before the 40% mark--i got bored, lost all interest in this completely. I normally love my escort/sexworker stories. Yeah, I know I'm strange, but I do tend to really like those kind of stories. But with this... I don't know if it was their past together or it just bored me but I struggled for a long time.

I must have felt something for the characters though or I wouldn't, even now, be crying over that unhappy ending to this part of their story. I'm also not sure if I want to read the next part. Will think about it in my dreams.

Steamy !

I knew this was going to be hot having seen the teasers Emma had been releasing over the last few months but this will absolutely make you melt.

Although the story starts out with the not-so-romantic, more hidden-fantasy "secret diary of a call girl" setting, there's romance in spades as the story progresses, without taking anything away from the electric bedroom scenes between the two main characters.

Despite moving on and making a life for herself with her alter ego Mia Lopez, Dayton is still damaged by the relationship that broke her at 17 when she made the decision to walk away from a perfect Summer falling in love under the Eiffel Tower, and return to reality. Seven long years, two lost parents, a lot of very tough decisions and a now lucrative career as a beautiful and highly-sought after top end escort, Aaron Stone blasts back into her life as her latest client - her Late Call - making just as much an impact as he did when they parted.

And Dayton is once again made vulnerable. At risk of completely losing the carefully constructed walls around her fragile heart, she realises that the feelings she thought had been left behind in Paris can be rediscovered all too easily if only she'll let them, and Aaron, back in.

Gripping story, you really root for Dayton and Aaron and their second chance at making it work. Who doesn't have a "one that got away" somewhere in their past ? But we all now the course of true love never runs smooth. Emma finishes this half of the story on a complete cliffhanger that not unlike Mr Stone himself, leaves you desperate for more. The good news is the follow-up is due out June 2014 so not long to wait to get your next fix.

Fingers crossed for a happy ending and a whole lot more of the naughty but oh so nice antics of the hottest couple in books this year - Christian Grey - who's he ?????

Can't wait !

I have a confession. This is my first Emma Hart book.

I have another confession. It won’t be my last!!

The writing and story flowed so that you were hooked and just wanted to keep going in their story so much so I wasn’t even watching the percentage creep up at the bottom of my kindle. I was engrossed in the romance, the background, the history and the geography of the storyline.

The book starts with a bang. Quite literally! You meet Mia, a high class call girl, the best of the best. She is extremely set in her ways and lives her life by the "four golden rules" – “Get the money first. Don’t go over time. Don’t fall for the client. And no freaking sob stories.”

Oh, and Mia isn’t her real name.

Her name is Dayton. She is just a young woman with a broken heart and soul who did what she had to do to survive once she lost those closest to her at a young age. She’d lost the love of her life after their magical summer together in Paris 7 years previous. She’d lost her parents just a few years later. She was alone with her aunt. An aunt who introduced her into the way of life she had come to know and escape to whenever she could.

Enter in a last minute, urgent “call”. An up and coming businessman, ready to take over the family company, needing a female companion for the night to keep the high society vultures away. ‘Mia’ enters the room and the last person she expected to see was in front of her. “Mia gives way to Dayton, because I look into a pair of eyes I haven’t seen for seven years.” Aaron Stone. This one night turns into 6 weeks of ‘work’ for Dayton. And hard work it is.

Now, you can’t get much more alpha than Aaron. He will have your trembling in your panties, and soaking them just as much.

My, my, MY! Why have I not read a book by Emma Hart before? It definitely will not be the only one of hers I read as after Late Call, I was hooked.

This book is a second chance type book, one of my favourite kinds of books and I literally loved every moment. It is sexy, fun, intriguing and I sooo want my own Aaron. He is perfect! He knows that he and Dayton belong together and she is worth more to him than what she see's herself as.

Dayton is a call girl and is 'hired' by Aaron to be his girlfriend for 6 weeks. Sounds simple, but when these two are ex-lovers who still have the chemistry, this could cause a lot of problems.

I devoured this book straight away and am anxiously awaiting the release of the second book. The ending to this one is real and although plausible in every way.. I didn't like it. Not because it was bad but because I wanted to kill my iPad. Need the next one now!
