Not very happy with all this waiting. What the hell are they doing? Are they sitting around drunk or stoned out of their heads? Come on guys. Get on with releasing it now. I ordered this about 6-8 months ago. I had to wait years before a cd on Cherry Red Came out. Hope we all don't have to wait bloody years for this to come out. I may just be a skeleton by then.

When are we going to have this released?.It has been along time since the last series was out and I do not think we have ever had to wait such a long time.It is unfair to collectors who like me have purchased all the other series and in time would like the entire collection sooner than later.

Although the series was never the same without Compo and Foggy, the arrival of Billy and now Alvin has ensued that this series has remained comical. Burt Kwouk is also good as Entwistle.

Why are we waiting so long for the release of these timeless classics, are the BBC waiting for us all to end up like most of the cast.Come on BBC get your skates on while we can still view them without using some artificial aid to see or here it.

I pre-ordered this last November and like other reviewers am getting fed-up with waiting. At this rate all those who are awaiting the release will be like the majority of the cast - 'Brown Bread'. Can someone get a move on and release this DVD.

Sadly, I am sure that last year the release date was given as 31 December 2012.
It is just a placeholder to avoid leaving a blank.
The Universal-Playback website no longer exists, and I am not optimistic about ever seeing any more series.
I shall be very happy to be proven wrong.

When you consider some of the rubbish that gets released!

On the comedy.co.uk website where these dates come from, it has now been updated to 31 December 2014.

So is this DVD coming out on the last day of the year, (which is actually a Tuesday!) or what? There's nothing about it anywhere 'official', so if it is due on that day, Universal haven't fallen over themselves publicising it, have they? When one thinks of some of the bilge already released on DVD, and presumably selling well enough to justify its issue, surely it's not too much to ask if the last four box sets of a highly respected and only recently 'discontinued' programme can be made available before we all go to that great café in the sky? UPDATE: 5 December 2013. Bad news, peoples - the Comedy UK website now lists the release date for this set and Series 27/28, as 31 December 2014 - so it does look as though we'll never see them!
