Product Description

Product Description

Sci-fi action starring Don 'The Dragon' Wilson and Katee Sackhoff. The robotic Drone Police were the perfect soldiers to protect civilisation - until, that is, they became the perfect enemy. With little hope left for humankind, electronically enhanced soldier Tallis (Wilson) rescues a rebel beauty (Sackhoff) from a failed resistance mission. Now, vigorously trained by her android mentor to think with the precision of a computer and fight with the ferocity of a machine, this brave future gladiator will become the last line of defence in the final battle to save the human race.

This film was made on the cheap in fact the only have 3 sets for the whole film. This is your typical Don Wilson film. Even though Katee Sackhoff is on the front and with her name in big writing at the top it is Don's films; hence it inherits the flaws of his other films. For someone who claims to be an action hero he does not do many action scenes. Having said that this is one of his better films.

The story is a film starts with a nuclear explosion, which make no sense because the battle is against cyborge police force gone bad called Drones (people in PVC amour). Don's character is an Electronically Enhanced (EE) soldier an earlier incarnation of the Drones. His unit (EE 700) was the last to engage the Drones, and he is the last survivor. For 10 year he has hidden enemy territory surviving by not engaging the enemy. Then Sackhoff a rebel with no formal military training comes into his life and his first link to the outside world. He decides to help her complete her mission take out as many Drones as he can.

Not too bad for a low budget sci-fi film. The main saving grace for me was the corneal I quite like his sermons about war. This is the bad kind of movie that made me laugh rather than cry.

Don Wilson plays an "electronically enhanced" soldier fighting evil police drones in a post-apocalyptic future. But most of the time is spent with him walking around not doing much at all. Writer-director Jesse Johnson did not do a good job either as a writer or director. The script lacks direction and focus and the movie looks cheap. This could have been excused if the movie had been fun, but it's not. Not recommended.

Unfortunately this title's only snare was the Actress from Battlestar Galactica on the 'Cover' but I truly hope this was pre-tv series as the film was low budget and some of the acting was diabolical - even the special effects were far from special - there were tiny moments where the storyline was mildly (only just) interesting but overall this was a total waste of my time and to think I paid for the rental makes me cringe even if it was a promo credit. Films like this do nothing for Amazon instant video other than de-value it and I won't be paying for another movie from the catalogue without extensive checking first!!!! Avoid this if you value your sanity!

Was the director 12? I mean 12 years old. Truly, truly a waste of all of our time. I commend the owners of Amazon to remove this film from their collection.

oh dear where do i start, katee sackhoff is totaly wasted in this film, having turned an enjoyable performace as the much loved starbuck in battlestar, she is reduced to a very pale shadow of her toughbabe image for this cheap made production, the male lead is a somewhat wooden character who saves our heroine form the certain death of a robot police force who look more like extras in motorbike helmets, and together they take on the helmeted baddies.the entire film looks to have been shot at some sort of factory and with the exeption of our heros hideout in some library type building in a film set town, all the action takes place there, which does get a little tireing towards the end.this is a turkey royale, and katee sackhoff should get in her viper and get as far away from this film dross as fast as possible.

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. Atrocious concept, atrocious script, lack of any visible pre-production story-boarding, shambolic directing and dire acting. Movie appears to have mostly been made in post-production by incoherently editing together randomly shot footage with ridiculously rapid cuts from one wobbly shot to the next that are likely to induce dizziness!

Zero thought, zero budget, zero talent.

I must admit that I agree with most of the negative reviews that have been put up already. This film is terrible and that is despite it having some very good actors in it. The story isn't anything that hasn't been done better by other films, the acting is wooden and not even a glimpse of katee sackhoff's breast from the side could redeem this film in any way. I hope that the director of this never does anymore films as I don't want to suffer watching anymore bad films. Uwe boll's stuff was bad but this is worse. Great idea but done badly and by actors who obviously will have second thoughts about working with such a director or story ever again. Avoid like the plague as there are better low budget films like this out there.

I am finding it extremely difficult to think of a single redeeming aspect of this film. Forgetting for a moment the sub-part acting, the storyline and set up for this film is simply atrocious with all manner of logic thrown clearly out of the window in order to make anything work.
