Last to know is book #1 in the willow creek series.
I loved this book I mean there’s a fricking hedgehog!!!
Emma and Maddox are absolutely adorable !! Young love is so lovely and Emma and Maddox make summer love just warm and fuzzy.
I grinned the entire time I was reading this book. Everything about it was just so cute!!!
If your looking for dark and brooding this isn’t the book for you. This story is freshfaced and exudes the innocence of youth.
Emma is a young 17yr old she’s incredibly innocent and I’d say even slightly sheltered. There’s nothing not to like about Emma she’s instantly relatable and endearing.
Maddox is the ultimate cheeky chappy. He treats Emma like a princess from the moment he meets her. I love that they do silly things together like ice cream fights and filling a swimming pool with plastic balls and jumping in.
This story is lighthearted and sweet, yet it’s still a love story. This couple may be young but I felt their connection and they definately had chemistry.
This book is YA but it’s reminded me that there doesn’t have to be loads of sex for there to be real intimacy.
I loved the rest of Willow Creek Mathias, Ezra and Hayes are all unique characters and they take Emma under their wings and make her feel like family.
I can’t wait for Mathias and Remy’s book that’s going straight on my TBR
This book will make you smile, it will make you laugh and I loved it!!
Last to know gets 4.5 stars from me!!!
I also loved the cover, infact that's what first attracted me to this book. I cant wait for the rest of the series to get my next Willow Creek fix. 5* highly recommended read.
It always threw me that Emma was 17. It explained her innocence, immaturity, lack of worldliness, but just it didn't quite fit.
Overall, the story was decent. Both characters lacked any edge at all to them which would have added some depth.
Looking forward to Mathius and Remy's story.
