After some rare photographs the book moves onto coservation of these unique areas and the wonders of the animal kingdom. What does the future hold? Can the animals in these national parks servive?
There is the story of poeple feeding elephants from their vehicles against advice at kalabega national park in uganda.Elephants sometimes shake trees to eat the fruit that fall off.Tourist feeding the elephants with bananas, teach him that he may always get food from these vehicles. However when he doesnot, he starts shaking the landrovers and the elephant has to be shot!
There is poarching, fires, culling, politics, increase in human populations and farming. Would there be any animals/birds left in the future for our children to see ?
Having been to tanzania now 3 times, to see the beauty of these national parks, I hope at least WE can tell our children about this EDEN.

Only Elspeth Huxley and Hugo van Lawick could have let us into this world of wild animals. The only exception - no photo's of the author - great pity.
