A brilliant, well put together souvenir from an incredible night, which heralded the end of a era. This is a must have for any fans of The Music, featuring a true greatest hits selection. This price (27/12/11) can not be beaten on the highstreet and is far less than what I paid for it - grab yourself a bargain and celebrate one of the most important British Rock/Indie bands of the last decade ending their career on a great high.

The dvd is of a great quality, both video and audio. I myself sometimes have a slight problem with all the bright (flickering) lights that were used, but that's mostly a problem of my eyes.

To my opinion, all their best songs are featured and performed well and alike to the studio versions.

Wish I could have been there! Still don't understand, why they broke up or even why they didn't get (more) famous worldwide. I know they were celebrated in Japan, but what about USA, Europe etc. This is just the best dance music with strong, meaningful and truthful lyrics EVER!! I salute a great band!

When The Music first formally announced their split, I was absolutely devastated. I had only recently become a hardcore fan of theirs, and knowing that I'd never get the chance to see them live and in the flesh was very discouraging. Then, much to my surprise and to all of their other loyal fans, they announced plans to do a final run of shows AND record the final two on CD and DVD. While I was in no financial position to actually go to Leeds in person to witness the epic event, the mere fact that I would be able to see it captured professionally on a disc meant the world to me. Here was this band that hadn't found much mainstream success and only acquired a small fan base, so what reason would they have to go out of their way to release one last gem for us? Well, the Gods shined upon on us and our prayers were answered. What we got was The Last Dance; a bittersweet goodbye from The Music in the form of their third concert DVD and first official live album. Let me say this: It is worth every penny. Now, I will say this: The quality of the audio isn't top notch, especially after the amazing sound we got with the Welcome to Japan DVD, and the footage itself can indeed sometimes be blinding with the excessive use of strobe lighting. However, these are very small problems and if you're like me you have no room to complain when you never thought they'd release this incredibly generous package to begin with. In other words, this is a MUST HAVE for even casual fans of this band. Rob, Adam, Stu and Phil absolutely CHARGE through this set full of all the greats from their 3 studio albums (along with a few fan favorite B-sides thrown in just for good measure) and the passion, meaning and energy captured here is off the charts. Aside from a few minor problems, how can you go wrong with a release of this proportion from such an amazing live band as The Music?
