Being already,a close follower of Eric Auxier via his blog site cap'n Aux, I saw links and comments,to , the last bush pilots.having lost
intrest in reading long ago. through reading the ever enveloping story, of, the last bush pilots, I was overtaken by the on going saga,of a young pilot, trying make his way, towards hi lingering dream of airline pilot, the way of the writing, the story, the cliffhanging parts,i found hard to put the novel down, and every moment was reading, in the depth that Eric Auxier wrote, he put you in the story as if a friend a fellow pilot also struggling to find his way,and overwhelmingly was drawn back to reading again, and, recommendation of other
books by the author.
If the Amazon new author winning title ,the last bush pilots, is anything to go by,then his latest title, avail on kindle only at moment, is sure to be another runway success.
I havnt stopped reading since ,and will continue,as am at moment, with his recommendations of mark l.berry and karlene petitt

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a great read, full of interesting aviation information and a good storyline. Although I've flown on big jets a few times, I've never having had the opportunity to learn to fly (it's too late now). I always enjoy looking up at the sky, watching the planes which fly overhead. Eric Auxier's descriptions of flight over the Juneau area of Alaska is gripping. I could almost picture myself in the cockpit of a Cessna, dodging low cloud and using keen visual techniques to maintain the safety of the aircraft. It's a great read, folks, by a man who has been there and done it! Buy it!

I must confess, a friend bought this for me so I felt obliged to read it. That said, as soon as I got started I couldn't put it down and as I enjoyed it so much I felt compelled to write a review! The characters are fleshed out well so you quickly feel an emotional connection to them (I actually welled up as a result of one adventure) and this leaves you wanting to know how things turn out for them. It is written in a jaunty style that is not too taxing making it easy to read. If you have a few hours to spare and like a good story, this is the book for you, you won't be disappointed. Happy reading!

If you love aviation you'll love this book. Even if you don't, it's a great read. A nice insight into the life of the Alaskan Bush Pilots. The world of no fancy autopilots and cloud bases dropping in an instant. Great read Eric.
